You can have a traditional sofa covered in floral design, a 70's wooden coffee table, a shag rug and one or two pictures on the wall and it be minimalist. Anyone who tries to tell you it's only a specific colour palette or you can only have streamlined, modern furniture either doesn't know what they're talking about or is trying to sell you something.

Boho is a maximalist style by nature. But generally speaking, those two styles, minimalism and Boho, are opposing aesthetics. It’s cool to combine such opposites.
