Happily I live in the EU where it is strictly forbidden to use used Airbags because the statistic shows that in 9 of 10 cases they will not fire. I'd never trust an Airbag that was not bought new directly from the manufacturer. This is just stupid and dangerous.
This is why copart is so expensive. Nuggets with no experience buying then thinking they next mat Armstrong
Everyone with experience, started with NO experience, that is entirely how experience is gained.
@Ahmvd1 no they didn't. They worked In a bodyshop and learnt the job. Not go out and buy a bumped car with zero experience

Apart from the b pillar danage thats a realy easy fix 👍👍

That B pillar damage is going to cause you a problem to repair properly as the reinforcement directly behind the outer skin you can see is high strength steel so can't be repaired.

All i watch on youtube is people rebuilding cars 😂 I also watched a tutorial at pretty much every step of this process. Looks quick and easy when it’s edited down to 15 minutes but it actually took 2 full days

If you genuinely don’t know if it runs, you make sure it runs first and the mechanical stuff is done before doing cosmetic things
I know it starts but haven’t been able to drive it since it’s not legally on the road yet, so I don’t know how well it runs
@@Ahmvd1 that should be first thing you’re checking ‘cause before doing anything else to it ‘cause if it needs a lot ne handicap wise then you know if it’s worth it or not. Getting it looking nice at first spending hundreds on it then finding it needs a ton more to make it actually move/stop/steer it could be wasted money. If you e got it to burn then fair enough but for me, mechanical comes first, then other issues then making it look pretty comes last

The sill needs pulling there’s no way of getting them straight on your own, your door gaps aren’t straight need to adjust those too. Front wing can be repaired, the Bodyshop should be able to do that when painting the doors, maybe they’ll line up the door gaps for you too. I think this will be a learning curve for you, looks like a cat s car and hope it works out cheaper than buying a straight one hood luck…

Doors Swage lines look out ,maybe it needs a little pull on the B pillar hope you can get them fettled in with adjustment fingers crossed

Doorsill is going to need pulling with a dozer. It’s not cheap to fix that kind of damage. Personally if I didn’t have a jig I would replace the door sill section, they’re not that expensive and weld it on. You’ll learn a new skill and end up paying less than giving it to someone to fix. And if you’re already giving it to a body shop they can paint the door sill area. Anyways good luck
Interesting insight, I wasn't aware you can replace that sill part. Is it imperative to get that straight or is it mainly for cosmetic reasons?

If your keeping it for yourself then leave it. If your planning to sell it at a decent price repair it
i think your underestimating how much paint work costs, those doors + wing are atleast £1000 worth of paint

The door unlocked after you locked it because the door was open, if you shut the doors it will stay locked
If ur painting the doors they will sort that wing out, plus u may need a new set buckle for ur belt
Let's just say I admire your effort. You've obviously still got a lot to learn, ditch those gloves and fix the panel gaps (painter will take them off still).

yep, filtering is completely legal. I've done this going past police cars and never had any issues

I passed my class 1 Hgv test my insurance went from 1300 to 350 a year
that's crazy, didn't think it'd make that big of a difference!
Nor me tbh I didn’t think it would make much difference but when you pass your Hgv test your classed as a professional driver even if you never wanted to drive Hgv you’d get your money back in your life time of driving just having that on your licence
