the firmware i downloaded was from SAMFW and no matter what file i download and follow your instructions it doesnt give me the files for boot.img

Mine says that android_winsub has not been digitized
this doesnt work bruh...it literally says device cant start code 10 when you type "fastboot devices" to flash any rom this doesnt work...seems like i should install win 10 again

The bad news is that this Driver is not compatible with legacy XP anymore. The last working version was 1.7.17 but I'm not sure about the rest (e.g. 1.7.23, 1.7.28, 1.7.31). But even 1.7.43 won't work. Forcibly installing such driver version under XP will cause any Samsung phone model (current or legacy) to fail to connect properly via MTP/ADB mode as the connected phone will be mistakenly connected in PTP mode and such (Even though the phone's SUB connection setting is MTP/ADB), meaning USB file transfer between the PC and the phone's internal memory and any plugged-in mSD card is impossible. I've recently gone thru this mess, not knowing the OS compatibility issue. What is excruciating is the "CDC Serial" services install, which is impossible. So with the older driver version, while older phone models can still be recognized and connected properly via MTP/ADB such is not the case with newer phone models Introduced after 2020. My question now is, will these drivers still be compatible with w7?
