@@KalarMeadia I’m really 50/50 on this. I’ll be frank I’m working on another video using him with every other mainline team. Spoiler he works fine. But in every situation there is normally a better character. I can’t call a character that will always be second best for anyone that’s not Acheron a must pull but if your either a major Acheron user, A Kafka user or someone who doesn’t vertically invest. He is definitely in the top 3-4 of priority’s For anyone who missed sparkle, robin, or rm. He looks promising. He is a case of. This is a safe pull definitely will benefit you. But do you need him? And if you don’t how sure are you that he won’t be mainstream in more teams. Worst case scenario. He doesn’t get more teams that *need* him. Even then he is just more than alright

@@Rennmi You should give it another try with Huohuo instead, Aventurine has little synergy with DoT team. Not sure how much difference it'll make though since I haven't seen much DoT showcase but iirc most of them use Huohuo instead.

@@dairdb On side 2 if you use an attack % rope you are actually able to 0 cycle with Kafka BS Jiao ill throw this updated version into what I was doing. It’s a little rng iffy but thank you for the idea! ❤️

@Rennmi NP. I didnt have a way to check, but i just knew with those percentages, you had to build him with as much attack% as possible to really capitalize on the e2

@@dairdb I will say for the most part outside of DoT teams your likely still better off with ERR unless your able to get him hit 3 times in a zero cycle

While I'm really not a fan of the DoT team I can agree! It's a bit weird that DoT has failed to get any love for awhile now. If Jiao still had his healing in his kit he would have honestly been a god send for this team (And a top 3 support). This would allow every team to run a sustain as a debuffer with 2 dpses or 2 harmony units!- I frankly think this was his worst nerf... I do think there is much more to explore with the break team. I hope hoyo can turn this into a low investment cost team so newer players can get into clearing MoC 12. I'm myself not a huge fan of firefly but I've always enjoyed boothil gameplay (Mostly because hunt characters are really fun)

Fr though, DoT hasn't gotten any love for some time and now they're branching into summon archetype.

Bro i'm also very lucky and get e2 ruan mei😂😂😂 she's been carried my ass since her first banner😂😂😂 No lc tho because as f2p i don't have that many pull (i really am lucky when getting the e1 and e2 cuz e1 i got on 11 pulls and e2 at 33 pulls when i tried to build pity😂😂😂)

This makes sense on paper: Blade is a damage dealer so if he is ran with Kafka it's a conflicting team. While yes I'll argue blade want's to be a sub DPS with Jade primary (HP Drain + More Speed). This team just isn't built for him. Kafka is a driver for DoTs so she want's to be ran with another person who can apply it. Black Swan, Gui, Sampo, Etc. So as a core it just won't work well. But if you mean KafkaSwan + Blade/Jiao. I can see a bit where the idea comes from both teams are a sort of x3 dps core. If you would like I could make a video showing this for you. The idea is 100% interesting and I'm willing to try it. If you have any other ideas I'm all for throwing them into a video as well 👍👍

@@Rennmi My apologies, I meant to say Blackswan, not Blade. If I understood you correctly, you were gracious enough not to get upset over the ridiculous idea of using Kafka and Blade together. I’m sorry about that. I’m curious about replacing Blackswan with Jiaoqiu in a dot team, rather than swapping out Ruan Mei or Robin. And if replacing E6 Blackswan with E6 Jiaoqiu is just hype, or if it would still be effective at an E2 level. You seem to have a deep understanding on this game, so I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

​@@ceterisparibus5557 Turns out yes. This team is much better. Team's used. KafkaE2S1 SwanE1S1, Ruan Mei E0S1, Aventurine. ------- Kafka E2S1 Jaio E0S0 Ruan Mei E0S1 Aventurine. The Jiao team oddly gapped it by a whole cycle even with lower investment points.

@@kappakeepo4935 Major NO! Despite is debuffs counting as a DoT Ruan Mei is better in every situation with robin following behind. He is only a worth wile unit if your going to use him with Acheron 🥲 If you skipped RM and don’t intend to pull Robin he is OK!-

Jiaoqui is only about 3% worse than RM in DOT but a vertically invested JQ has more value than a vertically invested RM

If you have eidolons and LC in your DOT, JQ has more value because all their eidolons synergizes with each other and making their DOT stronger

​@@dotcancerpatient I cannot agree. While Jaio is a "Better Pela" in most cases outside of Acheron's team he won't be the best in slot. (I'm sure this will change down the line) Ruan Mei and Debatably Robin. Bring more to the table then strictly damage for the team. (And are much more skill point efficient) Ruan Mei's Break Delay allows DoTs to be stacked far more (about x2 the amount) This is a infinitely more important as it allows you to ramp up much more damage. My math may not be 100 here but. For an idea Let's say you get Kafka's ult, Skill, and Enemy takes an action with Jaio so the debuffs do more damage Each doing 200 damage (200x4=800) Now you do the same thing with Ruan Mei. I'll say your doing 150 damage now (Even though RM does more haha) Now you can fit another kafka skill in and the enemy takes their turn with the applied debuffs another time That 800 damage done is now (150x6=900) in the same time frame (Granted RM does more it's really around 225x6=1350) You would get more dots applied in the time frame to add (another black swan skin and kafka's skill) so it could be all the way up to like 250 damage instead of the 200 you cap out with Jaio. Factor this in with Ruan Mei's free speed buff and the 3 turns per wave is much more easy to achieve plus if you have her Signature lightcone she is +3 skill points and doesn't take any from your team. I'll be frank everything said before applies to robin outside of the extra skillpoint. And instead you get another team turn that costs 0AV (Can be cluch in MOC or Apoc shadow so this shouldn't be ignored) Even in a world where Jiao does more damage he is still worse because he doesn't bring as much. DoT's damage isn't frontloaded enough to take full benefit from just damage buffs. This extra room for you to take turns allows you to run a 2nd harmony unit instead of a sutain. As normally you cannot kill the enemy('s) before they take turns on you without a sustain you can take no more than 2 hits (aka your going to fail.) Now if you run robin ruan mei instead of Jaio/Sustain you can take 2 whole full extra team actions before the enemy can take a second one. This allows you to actually get zero cycle/one cycles without excessive dupes ----------------------- For comparison E0 KafkaSwan Jaio teams get a 3 cycle clear on side one of this current ma while a E0 Ruan Mei setup gets a 2. This is constant with dupes too. It takes a E2S1s Jaio team to pull off a 1 Cycle clear while with ruan mei you only need E1S1. At the next damage jumps E4 and E6 they are both able to zero cycle (but like everyone can at E6) so I'll leave that point alone it's still worth noting though. ----------------------- Jiao is a great unit for everything that's frankly not DoT These are dpses that can frontload for a decent clear with him (All E0 Unless Said otherwise) Acheron, Yunli, Boothil E1 , E1 Jade, Argenti, E2 DHIL) All these teams mentioned here can 1 cycle with E0S1 builds unless stated otherwise. Other carries like Himeko, Seele, Jingliu, Blade, Etc either are far too weak at E0-E2 or want a different comp Robin,Timgyun,Sparkle/Super Break core, Fua Setup
