I haven't touched a Ridge Racer game since Type 4, or even one that's newer tan the PS1, but all that changes now. I have to say, I'm very disappointed that there is no intro like the classic RR:T4 - do correct me if I'm wrong because I would like to see it. The gameplay is very arcadey, and the drifting feels good. Besides that.. there's not much else to it. I do know there is a career of some form, but it's hardly gonna be in depth. NOTE: I actually had to turn the volume waaaaay down for this one, it is a very (and I mean very!) loud game. Despite this, I would still recommend having the volume low.

I just finished the twin snakes for the first time(I always replayed the original and I still have my orginal copy bought in september of 1999 btw..) and i have to say many of the criticisms of the remake is way overblown. The game is a straight upgrade to the OG in every way including voice overs btw. Also if you plan to play all the mgs games i think the remake is more of an immersive experience.
