Braniff Airways Foundation preserves the history of Braniff Airways, Incorporated, through collecting, preserving, promoting, and protecting the carrier’s legacy. The Foundation, originally formed from the Herb Sherry Fund T-Shirt Outlet and Braniff History Group in 1978 and then in 2012, Braniff Preservation Group, which was created to assist in the preservation efforts for the historic Braniff Operations and Maintenance Base at Dallas Love Field, was registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization in October 2015.
The Foundation was created by Richard Ben Cass, specifically to join together other interested parties in promoting Braniff’s history. The Foundation also curates the Braniff International Heritage Archives, which contains the lifetime collection of Mr. Cass, and includes all of the original Braniff Airways corporate records and archives, including Braniff's famed South American Art Collection and Art of Texas Collection.

Braniff, Inc., Airbus A320-231 Overview and Ground Handling Training Film 1989
On January 4, 1989, Braniff Airways, Incorporated, and Braniff International Corporation successor Dalfort Corporation's subsidiary, Braniff, Inc., announced a firm order for fifty new Airbus A320-231 medium density twin-engine jet aircraft. The deal was valued at $3.5 billion USD and included an option for an additional 50 aircraft, which, if exercised, would bring Braniff's total to 100 A320s. The first fifty aircraft were scheduled to begin delivery to the carrier in July 1989, with the last jet being delivered in 1995. Very few of the jets would be delivered to Braniff as a result of the carrier's financial problems and subsequent liquidation.

I think the title might need updating, later in the video at 23:50 they mention the October 1982 copy of Boeing Airliner Magazine so this film had to be made much later than 1964. Perhaps it is an update of an 1964 film.

At my age I begin far too many sentences with, “Remember when … “. At the time this video was made (1986?) you still (usually) got a meal even on short flights. I remember being served an omelette and a bagel, with juice and coffee, in Coach, between Albuquerque and Denver (Stapleton), which back then was a little more than an hour gate-to-gate. Amazing. Certainly is different today. I’m not complaining; just reminiscing and observing.
This didn’t age well, no Braniff and no Fokker nowadays …
One of my most favourite airliner special schemes, on a par with the Pepsi Concorde and Qantas Wanula Dreaming 747!

I think they should have done the same thing to the Tail of their A320s like they did to their 727 and 737 planes and extend the color onto the tail and put the Braniff name alao on the tail section would look better than leaving it all white
With the A320, Braniff was using three different liveries. The standard Braniff II; the Reebok look on some B737s, and the Mr Magoo livery on the A320s.

Tough medicine for employees, but Putnam had to deliver it. Gone was the excess that resulted in their financial hell hole. The best hope was radical transformation into a low cost carrier, and a 180 degree turn around of corporate culture. Had there been more time, and an infusion of more working capital, Braniff may have made it. Putnam pulled no punches, and refrained from laying blame as Braniff’s history was not their future. An eye opening presentation that finishes with a heavy round of applause from employees who wanted to win in the worst way. Kudos to this channel for allowing us to see this important document.

You are welcome. When I lived in New York many years ago, we lived up one of the JFK approaches of air traffic. I remember seeing the old DC-8s and 727s with the Braniff Aircraft colors. It was so nice back in the 1970s.

BI was known for making over-the-top ads and this classic is no exception.
I think the title needs tweaking. At approximately 11:56 the narrator mentions Kennedy airport. IDL wasn't renamed to JFK until December 24, 1963, so this film is probably from 1964 or a bit later - definitely isn't 1960.
Thank you so much for pointing that out. These have been stored for years in the corporate archives and many have hand written dates, etc. There is a 64 on the can so let's go with that date. Thank you again!
