@girlwandersmountains9303 You asked for feedback good or bad. You need a gimbal if you are using a phone. It will improve your videos so much no bouncing or shaking, smooth and more professional. You can pick them up cheap on vinted or gumtree. I got one about 3 months ago J Dji gimbal, it a good few years old but works very well. So easy to use, I paid £35 from vinted. I recently got a mic, that can be useful. Pretty much all hikers have a tripod. Smoothest filming ever because you set it up and just walk by the camera. Mine was about £15-20 it goes very tall and can be dropped short too. It fits in any bag and is light. Last thing your videos are long. If I put the same walk as you did my video would be 10 minutes. If people click on that mountain and see yours 30 mins and mine 10mins chances are most will go for the 10. I just did my longest ever but it was a wild camp and over 2 days, 18 minutes. Last thing shorts can be a good way for people to find your channel and the new video to follow soon. Like I said you walk and talk well👌👍 It looks good. Few small changes would make a big difference. Flick through my shorts and lengths of videos and feel free to tell me changes I need to make👍 I'm pretty new but understand how it works. I could do with getting a better phone or camera but it's time and money. Keep having fun. You will encourage others to go and explore💪👌👍

I've already subscribed. Your video came into my feed because I watch a number of youtubers and their Lake District adventures - always trying to learn - we go over once a year and have done a lot of the big hikes. We also have a channel with many of these hikes on it. Have never done Whiteside though! Regards, Ashley

Awww nice one dave. This was the beginning of September, just never got round to the editing part till this week. I can get a windsock for it but I don't think it fits over what I hold the go pro in. This was my first video so just getting used to speaking to a camera takes a lil. I've a second vlog on my channel which is my latest which I feel is an improvement already. Many thanks, muchly appreciate 🥾
