Your fat, Your not working hard if You're a tub of jelly, i bet Your labor is illegal aliens
So the secret is finding people willing to work cheap? You get to keep all the profit after those folks do all the work? Cool!
We need a list of equipment needed and cost of renting it vs buying
Is he not available
How do I start get actually get jobs?
More videos please?!
Anyone wanting to start out keep in mind this video is 5 years old. You will not get a good climber to do anything for $100. Doesn't matter if it's 1 limb. Nobody is putting their gear on for that.
Actually it’s from 2017 almost 7 years old now
My husband won’t climb for $100 lol 😂 no way he’s gearing up after doing this for 21 years for less then $250 with this economy. I wonder why her never came back and updated the video?
I will. $100 will get you fifteen minutes of climbing.
Do you still Tutor
My name is Billy Garrett I own and operate All American Tree Service , been doing trees most of my life on and off , but only running my own business for 3 years. I do all the climbing (I'm 54 years old ) mainly because I don't trust anyone cutting near structures and i just don't want anyone getting hurt. It's very dangerous sense drout Texas has been experiencing. I could use some mentoring on the business side of this deal. I'd appreciate any advice
Do you still tutor?
Steve was an INTEGRAL part of my beginning successes when I started on this path of my journey. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND his service and support to ANYONE who is starting on the path to Tree Service ownership. Steve is an HONEST, hard working, and caring individual with a real passion for passing his knowledge and experience on to the next generation of professionals. This guy is the REAL DEAL folks.
Does he still tutor?
Well it doesn’t seem like he’s still around? I don’t see anything on here.
Amen, thank you Jesus!
I got 21 years experience and want to start my own tree business.
I called you several times and different years but never answer or return my voicemails, but like always God has my back. God bless you.
100$ tied up in the climber?
Very hard to find good help in tree work.. And I mean someone that knows how to sharpen a saw, not a drunk or druggie, child support, good license etc....
Has anyone gone to the website in the description? It's been quite a while since this video was posted, so I'm curious if he's active.
Do you have a way of contacting you. I’ve trying to go up against big companies just starting out. Would really appreciate it.
Really nothing?? No damage to a fence?? No one got hurt?? I'm doubting that and I've been in the tree service for 17yrs..
That’s what my husband said but he’s taking about claims here. So that’s very probable that nothing has occurred resulting in the insurance being utilized
Let me know if you think RUclipsing tree work is a good idea. ruclips.net/channel/UCDLgrwx7wTkmK5Tf176z6-Q
I called this person but never contacted me back or anything.
What about fuel and other factors.good video 👍
I’d say the key 🔑 is having “men” to work for you when you need it.
Horrible advice. You barely said anything about how to start a business it should’ve started with what equipment you need to start a business. Obviously chainsaws but you could’ve went in depth a little bit about things that you don’t need right away when starting a business . The title should have been what I made doing tree care because that’s all you talk about ha ha.
Plus the time finding & quoting jobs. Plus wear and tear on equipment.
Great video
150 for a climber lol the fk u getting him from the pub?
Just get licensed in climbing and licensed to work around power lines and whore yourself out for $50 or more an hour. If your climbing trees and using your own gear you need to be making at least $50 an hour to be worth it. Theres a lot of trees in the world and not a lot of tree climbers. Charge accordingly and stop working for peanuts. These tree companies need you more than you need them.
So I’ve had way more than 3 years experience I’m very familiar with tree service. I’m looking to start my own do I need any license to do so? If so what and how do I get one? My issue is I got paid in cash from a close relative but he passed away so I have no record of the 3 years experience.
Nice video sir,thanks for sharing
Paying your climber hourly?
Listening to your figures and “profit” doesn’t take into consideration ALL the business liabilities. You paint an inaccurate picture.
You're talking about equipment and insurance I suppose. A boom truck? Not cheap, and the insurance....I keep hearing it's so dangerous, so that's probably pricey.
Thank you 🙏. I’m new in this business. God bless you ..
I started a landscaping company and want to add tree cutting. What certifications would I need to start doing tree cutting jobs? Also, Is the risk of tree diseases and the spread of it, a very serious factor?
Gotta make sure u have the best insurance also, trust me.
Thank you
Wow. In the wrong business. Thanks for the this wonderful video... Do I need a license and what kind?
I’m 21 and about to start in Phoenix, AZ.... I do landscaping with my 2 brothers now and I need to split off and do trees only. I have my first climbing removal this week very excited! Thanks for the video!🙏🏼

I spent 15 years working for a few tree services before I saved up enough to get my own, doing great, got the best reviews of anyone near me. Booked at least 2 months out year round from repeat customers. I need to make $200 an hour to be making good money. Got a 75' lift, 1 large f800 dump 2 1ton dump trucks 1 chipper 2 stumpers and a large 6way wood splitter with conveyor belt, 2 tractors, all of its payed off. 4 full time employee's and a few extra when I need them. I'm on every job and work right beside my men. All the advice you have given is very solid. Also presentation matters, don't hire people that look like things, paint and keep your equipment clean, no cursing on the job, keep up the great info
Great video, thank you for the information!
