I love this video! It's always fun to see how other people organize their inventory and do inventory checks/pulls :) I also reuse bags and numbers! I've been putting mine in gallon ziplocs. I know there are pros to single-use plastic for shipping (in addition to polybags), but environmentally, I just can't do it. Some of the brands you mentioned I've also had trouble selling, like Torrid and Adrianna Papell. But now we know! :)

I loved seeing your historical Black Friday numbers! I'm so glad last year was really awesome for you! (But that makes it worse comparing it to this year 😐) I'm glad you made this video because my numbers were SO awful ($62 profit from Fri-Mon) and that definitely hasn't been the case for a lot of people. I do agree that we have so much competition with all the major retailers, though! I ran a sale the previous week (to try to revive my closet after going away) so I wanted to try a coupon during this weekend, but I probably should've just stuck with another sale. I also had sales running on my other sites but only 1 purchase on Poshmark and 1 on Curtsy.

I hate not finding the match to shoes, especially when it would've been such a good pick up! And I'm with you on getting there right when they open (the one time I've gone so far lol) - I now understand the people who were there for 2 hours and left before the busiest crowds.

My future DIL is looking for vintage for her dress. I told her on my dress (circa 1987 and is quite beautiful) that she's welcome to either wear it as is or alter it as much as she wants, but to please save anything removed so future kids/grands can use the parts for heirloom items. I think passing over vintage is a wasted opportunity. :) Get a dressmaker and create magic. :)

Nice video. Can I ask why you sell on WhatNot? I’m not really a clothes reseller but when I was on that app a while back it seemed as if clothing would sell for lower amounts, so I’m curious if the idea is to basically buy low at bins and try to flip quickly? Anyone thanks.
