This is a coptic hymn. It translates to: You are the censer made of pure gold, carrying the blessed and live coal. The hymn is talking about St Mary, who is the gold censer that carries the blessed and live coal which is Jesus Christ. It is said in the Coptic Church on fasting weekdays, whereas Teeshori (another hymn), is said on weekend fasting days. 😄

By the way i have a good news! I searched for this beautiful "Khen Efran" Hymn purposely. Here's the story: I had taken a national exit exam before 5 days and official result was released on Sunday night for everyone but the result for our school was delayed until this morning and I opened this Beautiful Hymn hoping the release of the results and by the end of this Beautiful Hymn i received a text message from my 2 classmates on groupchat in telegram then i opened the website to see my result and i Passed!!! by the way I love this Hymn when i hear it but i don't know the meaning of "Khen Efran", what does "Khen Efran" mean?
