ALLEZ SPRINT 2022 Water Effect Dream Build
Welcome to my next dream build guys. Feel the atmosphere looking at full build process step by step. Idea was born in my head after i saw this frameset built by some other guys(on youtube as well) and the final effect was always a bit strange and random. I am a big fan of Allez Sprint series, so i decided i have to show some true art of bike building and make a video of that to show the world good example. Thanks to Specialized Warsaw Soho bike shop(and service) the dream come true. Video was filmed by my friend Artur starting from building the bike and continued on the roads around Warsaw. I am not putting the full bike check here cause you can see all the parts used watching video. If a...

Specialized Stumpjumper 1991 (Neo)Retro MTB Dream Build "Centuries Connection" by 'ROWERAGE'

This time i've built the steel mountain bike, actually time machine, connecting difeerent centuries with parts used. Frameset is Specialized Stumpjumper from 1991, bought long time ago in Germany as a full bike with decent dx gruopset on it. For 2 years i used it as commuter and biketowork machine. As i am a big big fan of steel bikes from 90's and Sram drivetrain's from 2006-2012 i always had ...

This video is the end of my journey to build a really special bike. It was a long time to finish it but now its here and you can see the result. Enjoy and comment what you think about :)
Can't believe people buy that $1000 jockey wheel
I bought it directly from distributor on a huge promo for 250 $ bro, here it makes sense. Especially for the concept of colourful dream bike 🥰
Belle vidéo , parcontre l'attache rapide c'est dans l'autre sens
Yeah, I already turned it right ☺️ you are a good viewer, super patient 😎
Pełen profesjonalizm
@@JerzuzWawy fajnie że pan w końcu wykroił pół godziny, żeby zobaczyć całość procesu :)
Beautiful build. Any info on those bottle cages you used? Thanks!
Thanks my Friend. Those are really nice to use and good looking - elite(Shimano brand). You can find tons of colours and shapes of them 🙌
You did install the quicklink backward 😂
Yes 🤣 but I fixed it already after saw on the video 🤪
@ anyway it is a nice bike
@@mikedio already shredding 😎🤘
Hey there awesome build!, can you tell me the cable length of the new di2 System without the junction Box at the bottom bracket. The manual only stats the cables for the old system.
Do you remember perhaps? Or did you write it down on your textbook?
Now ive seen on the video that you had one 600mm length cable. That must have been the one for the front derailleur. Which length did you use for the rear?
Yeah, i had 600 mm front and 1200 rear. Highly recommend removing all the plastic tension cables before routing it inside and after put them on pushing into the frame from both sides as much as u can. BB area is hard to do 😁
💗❤️
Beautiful bike ❤
i think so as well 😁
imagine putting all that effort into a bike then finishing the bar tape like that 19:00
@@crike12 look at 19:10 😅
What handlebar is that?
@@jamiesharp3421 its roval rapide, from Tarmac sl7 man
My kind of machine! Beautiful.
Thanks a lot man, cruising through Tenerife with that right now, check my Instagram 😎
Shouldn't the quick link release go ➡ through the movement of the chain ???
Of course it has to, but Shimano chain shows where to stretch the link, not the movement of the chain 😊
Bela bike
Thanks 🤝
Awesome build! Where did you put the di2 junction box? I didn’t see it on the bars or seat post.
@@jasongiordano907 latest generation of di2 group sets doesn’t need junction box anymore. Rear derailleur is now the “brain” of the system. So you just connect battery with 2 derailleurs and that’s all 😌 Works with dura-ace 92xx, ultegra 81xx, and 105 71xx series.
You shouldn’t blow that carbon dust away.. Also would recommend wearing a mask while cutting lol
@@rand0666 you are right man, but for video i thought its nice. Normally i do 🤝
🤝🏻
Just asking. No grease on the bottom bracket or you cut that out?
@@LargeMouthLunkin of course grease was added. Cut out cause the video is long enough anyway. Same with steering bearings, thru axles and so on. Grease was applied everywhere it has to be ☺️👌 I will not cut this in my next videos, cause you are not the first person asking 🤪
7.590 without pedals nice i have one 7.300 without pedals cant wait to see that with carbon wheels
@@ΣκιστειςβάρβαροςαποτηνΣκωτία weight wasn’t the goal here but yeah its pretty nice weight for the Alu all rounder. If you plan to build a lightweight machine - get an Aethos 🙌
@ROWERAGE_vova_belij nice joke I know that but it's also fast
@@ΣκιστειςβάρβαροςαποτηνΣκωτία true, allez is fast, especially when you put some deep wheels on it 😎

Great looking bike! When the wheel set is double the cost of the frame 😂
@@taxi9554 😂😂😂 Its a dream build 😎
It's so hard to get that color scheme.
Bro, i was looking for this frameset for 3 years from its announcing by specialized. One day i was going to sleep before it landed on specialized.com. When i woke up it was already sold out in 56 😂 I’ve bought full second hand bike in USA after 3 years to get the used frame to Poland for my 31 birthday. And after 2 days - somebody from bike shop in Hamburg put this for sale in germany. NEVER built frameset 😅 So if you want i still have that full bike in Chicago USA. My mom has it in her House 😂 i can bring it to EU. Ig interested - message me on instagram or by e-mail 🙌😎
O Cholera ale piekny rowerek. Bravo dla Ciebie kolego 👌👍
A dziękuję za miły komentarz. Rowerek owszem całkiem fajny wyszedł, chwilę czasu spędziłem marząc o tym jak go złożę no i trochę więcej zajęło zebranie wszystkich podzespołów. Tak żeby bez kompromisów 😊

Muito linda! Uma verdadeira obra de arte! Gostaria de ganhar uma aqui em Itanhaém -SP ( Brasil) Parabéns
I wish you make it real ASAP 🎉
You dont need a carbon frame to built a fantastic Bike and you have more money for better parts. I love it.😍
Grateful for nice comment bro 🙌 Have to agree with you. In my opinion using the Allez sprint and mechanical 105 group set with good aluminium set of wheels and some second hand aero stem/bar combo you can build a really race ready machine for under 3 k bucks. The geometry is fantastic and the weight isn’t bad ☺️👌
I Build my Self an Trek Emonda ALR with SRAM Red etap Axs and Beast Componants Parts in Size 60 with Bottlecages and Dura ACE Pedals it is around 7,4 KG 50 MM Deep Wheels also. It is Light Stif and Comftorabl at the Same Time. Carbon is god for Aero Bikes but normal Race Bikes Aluminium is a Great Option.

Awesome build!
@@tomaslundberg465 not the last one i Think ☺️☺️☺️
I am a Specialized hater, with some reason, this is a schemer business, not an enthusiastic company. They hoard ideas, tricking struggling inventors into selling. It was founded that way, when it copied ritchey’s geometry to mass produce their junk. Bought the horst link patent and prevented its use in north america for many years, when the patent protection was over suddenly it was not good enough for their racing model. My God , look at how crude this aluminum frame is compared to even an old cannondale, how can people still be tricked by these mafiosos.
@@pedrolahoz you can be hater of specialized it’s not a problem :) I have a question: have you ever ridden Allez sprint? Doesn’t matter which gen. I’ve ridden Cannondale caad, different models. Of course they are good, but still I feel specialized better. Cannondale is cheaper and it’s good for entering the sport. But when you are riding a lot and doing some racing - Allez sprint is probably the best option to get. Welds are big and not common for bicycles, but I love it 🥰 about history of specialized - I don’t see a problem to do something for all people not for bunch of friends 😁 and in the end, look at eBay, and some other platforms - some bikes from early 80th are still rocking on the roads, which means quality is not that bad man 🙌 Give them a try some time ☺️👌
@@ROWERAGE_vova_belij many a year ago, I tried specialized tires, specialized shoes, they wore out extremely fast…. This is a company trying to inflate the price of the cycling hobby, kind of like debeers with diamonds, creating value of illusions with marketing gimmicks.
@@ROWERAGE_vova_belij many a year ago I tried specialized tires and shoes, they did not last long. This company tries to make this hobby overexpensive selling illusions much like debeers in the diamonds industry, with constant marketing gimmicks
Bought specialized shoes and tires many a years ago, these did not last long. This company has worked in inflating this hobby’s prices much like debeers did with diamonds, by constant marketing and business gimmicks, creating illusions. This should be mainly a technical sensible industry, not brand, fashion, and image.
@ if it was high level it’s normal. The best things like high end tires or shoes are not durable. They have to give you performance and best qualities but usually they are for racing and cost a lot, but durability is low. I can say that on my 1988 Stumpjumper I still have original tires and they are still rideable - after 35 years. Sam with boots, spd Mtb pair from 2012 is still used for trainings. Yeas they are looking not so good but they still work. And it was the cheapest option without any boa, just laced boots ☺️ I tell you bro, give them a chance, maybe you were unlucky to get some bad products, cause of course they had some in their history. And now, sl8 is worse than sl7, diverge become crazy shit, Mtb options are strange and full of electricity. This will change in 2-3 years and specialized will be great again. If you check my channel - there are some really good examples of bikes made by them and I swear you won’t be disappointed after buying them. Allez sprint as well - it’s a brilliant road bike, especially the latest generation, you can see on my video ☺️ Thanks for comments anyway, and have a nice ride 🤝☺️
Fantastic bike… where did you get that rocket valve caps ?
@@brunobruno6533 thanks mate, I am afraid they are dead stock now. Trick Tropz was the company name I think, but they are not selling anymore, probably already not on the market. I’ve bought them from some bicycle shop in Warsaw, they had some NOS parts from 10 years before or more 😔
@@brunobruno6533 update, you still can find some, it’s Trick Topz valve caps rockets, few are there on eBay still :)
Sure... weigh it without pedals.... you don't need pedals to ride it
@@Sills71 of course you need. The problem is that you can choose between a wide range, starting from 120g for both pedals and ending at some big platforms with over half kilo. I think everyone is smart enough to find his own option and make a 1+1 mate :) all of bike factories do it the same way, so they are not doing it right? 😂
I like the Allez, but I could never own one simply because of those terrible welds.
@@BikeLife154 you can love it or hate it 😂 true masterpiece 😂😂
The quality of welds isn’t measured by their looks, it measured by the process of technology. Welding aluminium takes knowledge and maintaining the technology. It has to be temperature treated and marked with letters T1,T3 etc… Smooth welds means they just have been polished for marketing purposes, and nothing else.
@ I wasn't talking from a technical aspect but from an aesthetic view. Cycling is overwhelming about aesthetics and those welds look terrible. I'd rather an SL7.
Cycling is only about speed, kilometres, burned calories, and lots of sweat. You are talking about girls’s glamour, you are far away from cycling.
@ I knew you’d be back! People like you love arguing! I ride a Caad12 from 2016 with rim brakes. It’s hardly considered glamorous, but one of the best Aluminium road bikes ever made and with decent welds.
Awesome build and bike, enjoyed your video👍✌🏼

@@grahamekellermeier8280 long live the queen 🙌😌
Nice build - if you like the Allez Sprint then you will love the CAAD 10 - old, gold and cheap as chips. Can easily be built into a sub 7kg reliable all day road burner, comfortable as an armchair while at the same time stiffer than a stiff one (for want of a better way of putting it!).
@@johnflynn4923 I won’t get a cannon just because I am a specialized boy 😂 but of course, you are absolutely right. Still from time I started cycling in mountains - rim brakes are not so good. So I need something with discs. This bike is total allrounder, I have a set of Roval CLX wheels for flats and bike ahead for mountains. If I had to get one road bike - definitely Allez sprint plus ultegra di2 :)
