    wait so Oversubscription is good even though the AP's require more bandwidth than the Controller is able to give out?

    • @CertsAndTech
      @CertsAndTech 3 месяца назад

      Networks are never perfect, oversubscription happens everywhere: the power grid that powers your house is oversubscribed, cell phone capacity is oversubscribed at every single cell, and the WLC is not the exception. If for some reason all your APs in your network start using FULL BW at the same time your WLC will surelly become a bottleneck. There are some WLC that can be upgraded in licensing if you ever reach that point. Final note, for SDACCESS networks the WLC can never be overuscibed. I hope I answered your question, sorry about the delayed answer.

    Some docs state that PARALLEL MIGRATION may happen through LAYER 3, having an interconection between the new Border Nodes and the old core layer, rather than using a Layer 2 Handoff Node

    8:40 ACTUALLY the WLC should be connected at the BORDER NODES if placed inside the fabric

    5:09 External Border Nodes are also known as Default Border

  • @CertsAndTech

    Given the fabric is heavily based on fast interfaces, intermediate nodes should support 10G or better Interfaces , i.e. 25Gbps
