Definitley, it was great back in the 70's/80's/90's, I still enjoy playing live every week with my fellow musicians...but it's so nice not to have to wait on everyone to clear time for my project! Suno has really opened up the doors for musicians to create what they have inside them withough having to do all the parts themselves (which I've done but takes really long and lets face it none of us are good at everything) or too as I said earlier have everyone set aside their lives for your projects (doesn't work out well).. He clearly states that musicians have been doing that for decades if not centuries. Ai just does it faster. For example 7 of 14 songs on the Beatles first album are covers. They used other peoples music to support their own creations.

Good point, having been a musician for over 5 decades I definitely feel and have empathy for both and many other positions. There is one thing I have learned in my varied experiences over this last half century...even though there are no easy answers we need to talk about it, and to embrace it at least at some level. This genie is not going back in the bottle and just like all of the major innovations in history there will be many strong feelings represented in different ways. But the best way to move forward is together! I have noticed a lot more people doing what I am doing and collaborating with the AI to supplement our creativity and talents with resources we don't currently have available at the moment. I believe there may be an answer in that. Thanks for sharing!
