I think you missed something of vital importance when looking at the Interstellar Launch Facility module. Building it requires five hundred exotics! You have 56 and get about 3 for every mind control facility your councilors destroy. You are going to need to destroy alien ships in space in order to harvest more exotics.

The fact that you're playing on hardcore without a map or compass and still being a good guy is impressive. This is the hardest difficulty the game has ever seen. I might not be able to keep up with you for long because I’m playing at the same time at much easier level. I can’t wait for the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 when I get to start from the beginning just like you are now. Congratulations on completing it so well-great job on that achievement! The hab was so easy to conquer bc they were over cap with their mission control. Otherwise you would have needed more marines to do that, given the amount of barracks they built.

You might have already figured this out going by the fact that there are videos queued up for release, but when you were planning transfers in the ship designer at 1:42:34, you were looking at the wrong spot - that part was how much Delta V you had available with your current design. The bottom left with the slider and Thrust Profile showed how much propellant you were expending.

It can be a little confusing, but Knowledge doesn't actually reduce unity. It brings the value closer to 5 - so it is definitely a positive for fragmented societies like some of those small, poor African countries. Also, in regards to the Caliphate's black flag, it's not a bug, it's the Black Standard, which is one of the flags flown by the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It didn't used to be a gradient, but a solid black flag, but I guess they changed it because people thought the black flag was a bug.

Medium Orbit grants Anti-Matter late-game harvesting, though it can prove expensive. I tend to build my research/resupply facilities there.
