To your question of "can we put all the blame on scott?" I mean no of course not ALL of it. But I think we're forgetting that this has happened A LOT OF YEARS in the Scott era. How many seasons now have we ended up falling to pieces at the end of the year and finishing under 3-4 games back of the playoffs.

I'm not sure how much nostalgia plays into Wilson being the interim manager as much as his relationship with the Rotation (sans Castillo) and Cal. This effectively makes Cal the player-manager, something I JOKED about on J's post game the other day. Wild to see it actually happen. Didn't hate Scott, generally liked him but it was time to make a change. I don't think it'll make much of a difference in 2024. Are we sure Negron or Manny Acta want the job? I can imagine for both those guys the Skipper job in Seattle isn't very appealing at the moment. They're probably looking forward to moving on as well since Servais is gone. Hopefully Hollander is next at a minimum.

Id still say La Piedra is the Ace. His ability to stay cool as a cucumber while in a jam and usually get out relatively unscathed puts him above the rest. Logan is definitely having the better season tho and is on his way.
