The Moon Towers is the first full-fledged expansion for Paupers' Ladder, with its own complete sets of Region, Equipment and Quest cards. It also adds more Bird companions, as well as Talents your Paupers can learn. It also adds the malevolent, monolithic Moon Towers which must be destroyed to remove their taint from the land. The Moon Towers will be coming to Kickstarter later this year.
Preordered this and Pauper’s Ladder and really looking forward to receiving them.

Any chance you could do a video on the new content in the 2nd edition? The card well and new birds are great. Still, I am curious specifically about what the gameplay and game-changing components are since I am considering the upgrade kit and care more about the game than the cosmetics, as your art is already fabulous. Hiya Jonathan, yes indeed! I've been meaning to do a video this last couple of weeks - we sadly got an eviction notice on our house which has shoved everything roughly aside but I'm hoping to get it done this week 🙂 Here's a quick list of what's different between the 2 editions in the meantime: About 60 new or different cards across the 540 included A bigger selection of recipes to learn (24 instead of 18) Extra Bird companions (8 instead of 4) A Survival mode variant Full solo mode straight out the box Plastic moulded insert to store everything including expansion material Wooden Bird pieces instead of plain wooden discs Deeper box
@@bedsitgames7066 Oh, no. Those sorts of surprises are quite unsettling and everything else goes to the side. I hope the transition is smooth. Based on your description, it sounds like the New Dawn Chorus replaces everything other than the board!
Looks very interesting, just ordered! It definitely helps that I love tiny games, and I'm weak for a nice tin and tiny meeples!

Ordered Paupers ladder ten days or so without any add on’s, watched this that looks great and ordered this as well 😊. Enjoyed the enthusiasm behind your presentation too

The game so nice, I bought it twice! Cannot wait for my 2nd Ed. to arrive later this year, and I'll happily donate my first edition when it does (someone at my local charity shop will love it, I'm sure) .

Cargo bay is a great term! But the industry might call them card wells. Looks great! Now I'm contemplating to ditch my first edition to get the better storage box. :) Great work!!!
@fabiansteins6223 of course! I had thr most bizarre blank when I was making this video, all I could think of was when they were hiding in the Millenium Falcon.
