@@ChristinesCraftTable Yes exactly. So you are using both yarns but alternating between the two yarns. Yes, they are different but it will be more of a gradation and consistent through your project. But you mentioned that you will use the striped yarn and I understand that will work. I was thinking if I was working with the same color in my project but had 2 dye lots, I would alternate after rows - incorporating both throughout to blend better.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm constantly reminding myself to keep a light hold on the hook, I still catch myself with a death grip on it sometimes. Also trying to be better about putting down the crochet when I'm tired. It's like a good book, your brain knows it will still be there tomorrow, but you just fight to keep on reading...or crocheting...just one more row! 😂 But with the crochet it tends to backfire on me and I make more mistakes leading to more frogging.

@@ChristinesCraftTable I start out very tight & then as I go & get comfortable it seems I get looser. Yes putting it down is important. I just went through tendinitis in both wrists. My left was worse. I had injections in both & it worked. I may have to have surgery down the line but I’m trying not to crochet over an hour without putting it down. It was soooooo painful.
