Mathematics is the quagmire, you cannot see the forest for the trees. What is gravity? Einstein taught me to use thought experiments. So let's start with a "theory." There is a "theory" that all things fall at the same rate. Let's test that. We go to a high building. You bring an object. I bring an object. Your object is a bowling ball. Upon this blob I place a penny. The copper penny displaces the water and sinks to the center of the blob. Now we take a needle and into the center of the blob we release air. The water displaces the air and pushed it outwards. The Earth is just a larger blob of matter and water. Gravity is DISPLACEMENT between all the elements in the periodic table, each trying to balance out the equation and come to rest. The old concept of yin/yang. You people using all this complex math... are idiots. Now you KNOW what gravity is. You're welcome.
