The game gives you another puece of information, which is the number of mines left to find (in the top left corner). In this situation we have two mines to find and a 2 that is completely unsatisfied, so both mines must be adjacent to the two, and all other squares are safe.

I have a question. The last two seems like tunnels where there are walls on both sides, which is not a normal minesweeper would offer. Or you mean there are mine walls already flagged? but it's a lot more complicated in that case.

It's a shame you didn't reveal the clearly safe squares in 232, 121, 1221, 111 and 1111. They're as much of a given as the flagged squares.

Minesweeper is a fairly fun game... until you switch from the linear algebra part to the probability part.

I played with flags for 20 years and I stopped playing with flags this week, hoping to get faster with my times and better at seeing patterns.

I tried turning mouse pointer precision off, and since then I just haven't been able to control my cursor at all when playing Minesweeper. I've been hoping I would somehow get used to it, but it hasn't happened so far, and it's been feeling like a struggle just getting the cursor on the right square most of the time. Did I mess something up, or does it just take more time still to get used to, or is it possible it might just not be for me?
