Went 12 days without power in simpsonville
I got lucky mine came one after four days.
We are opposites tore my car apart in 2 days to do some valve stem seals and relap my valves😭

This is my type of channel lol 4 days to gap rings sounds like me for sure. I’m scared to work inside engines that deep but currently saving for a terminator x for my 93z28 and gonna slap a 5.3 in it and learn how to do a turbo install. I feel like it’s gonna take me 4 years to figure out how to install the harness when I can afford it lol
Hull yeah dude! Putting the motor together is the easy part. All the research and figuring out how to do it right is what takes 4 years.. but fuck gapping rings lol that shit sucks..

@miatakhalifa coyote eats boost more than an LS. Ls just needs more air. 950hp 10 speed can't even keep up with a manual H pattern 6 speed ls. LOL so much for them 10 speed coyotes on top
I've definitely beaten a few boosted 10 speeds in the Miata before lol.

I agree just get a quality rebuild kit for the turbo's, I do it with all the cheaper turbo's and they have no issues with the better bearings and oil seal rings.
We tried. They are currently apart in my house rn.. the shafts and housing had some pretty bad wear on them. You'll see in the next video, I talked him into just getting some vs racing turbos lol.
Miatas are cool and all, but that Grand Marquis is badass! In all seriousness, you'll be back up and running in no time.

Save the car I know LS' in general are taxed these days but good deals come by every now and then. You could even get away with a boosted 5.3 as a temp motor. I just got my miata on the road with an LS1 and I've been having knock sensor issues among other things. You gotta try to save it
I'm also poor and I don't know how I'd deal with a similar scenario but I know I'd figure it out somehow lol
