@exaybache The swords are wobbly so that they can create a snapping sound when you thrust (for added effect). The flimsy tip sort of does a whipping motion which creates the sound. You can hear it in other videos.

@exaybache The wobbly sword is more for show and effect rather than utility, if they were to use a real sword they'd break their wrists

can anyone tell me why his sword is so wobbly? it seems very very flexible

I really don't understand why you guys are saying that Wushu is just a sport. Wushu is also a form of self defense with certain styles. Like kung fu, karate, jeet kung do, or whatever form of martial art, it can be used successfully in self defense. Even tai chi, which was demonstrated during the slow breakdown in the video, is a form of self defense and can also be deadly.

Vraiment du très bon wushu!! Je suis pratiquant, et ça m'enrage de voir un tel niveau! J'aime particulièrement la prestation de la fille en blanc, et le dernier garçon au baton, très rapide! Bravo!!! 5/5

oh btw .. jet li learned wushu when he was very young.. did u watch his changquan ?

  • @metalcar

wushu is an art.. the actions and everyting are mostly not formulated for fighting.. wushu is an art..like the mantis form.. its an art.. u nid to have the artistic sense to enjoy it.. therefore wushu is like performing an artistic work/performance..not really for fighting
