It doesn't say that an elder can't be divorced and remarried. When you remarry you are only married to one person, the other is no longer your spouse regardless if they are still alive provided the divorce is on biblical grounds.

I think you need to use the term "the Father" as in addition to the Father, Jesus is God and so is the Holy Spirit rather than saying "God sent the Holy Spirit or God sent Jesus" The Holy Spirit is our most precious friend, counselor, guide, and without Him we wouldn't know the Lord. ❤ Every Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit but the baptism in the Holy Spirit is so important. Its the immersion and baptism into the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and for empowerment.

Common sense doesn’t need to be proved, it just is. It doesn’t need evidence. If you are stating something that is self evident then by definition you only need to look at the world around you see what is true.

It's funny how thay say ( just look at the word around you and you know it to be true) and show no evidence to support your claim witch you made. But that is Christianity for blind faith and little to no evidence just a old book that is a translation of translation of a copy that was changed so many times. Lol

you must deny the truth of God's word to believe in the pre tribulation rapture lie. Luke 21: 25-28 proves pre tribulation rapture is a lie.

This underscores the importance of knowing the Word of God personally. I recently submitted an assignment at Uni on the subject of end times and what heaven will look like when we get there. I was required to do a book review on this and was aghast at the blatant error by a so called Theologian. Not only that, but how easily some were swayed to his blethering. A great deal of my assignment challenged his opinion, but at the end of the conversation I was just so very glad I had this firm foundation of teaching to stand on and that at the end of the day it is God’s Word that is indisputable, immovable and everlasting.

Truly blessed message, full of revaluation.
