I’m a Brit now living in France. I’ve just bought a VW with adaptive cruise control. It works well, but I’ve had a few issues. If the car in front pulls into a slip lane to turn off, the ACC sometimes stays locked on to it and slows right down even though the road ahead is clear, causing annoyance to cars behind who can’t figure out why I’ve slowed down. And sometimes it locks on to a cyclist at the side of the road and brakes suddenly. You’ve got to keep your wits about you.

pretty lame video what about things like being able to set up an address book of favorite locations or how to switch the map over to your instrument cluster, things like that. if your going to make an instructional video on something dont do it half assed.

I have a 2015 Tiguan. It is confusing when it mentions USB port. it has a computer type of port @nd a old type audio port (in the center glove box or console box) but I cannot figure out how or if a 2015 Tiguan can show Google maps on my radio screen. I'm hunting for the information but so far all videos are for newer versions. can you help?

Nice tips and tricks, always good to know. The most important thing to figure out, is how to fix these, because they are known to fail early and often. What do you do when the soft reset doesn't fix it, so the touch screen will work again? Can't hard reset without the touch screen working, or at least that's what VW says.

is it possible to show the tachometer on one side and the speedometer on the other? Like on that 3 section screen? I could’ve sworn when I did my test drive, the salesman was able to do that

ok so this actually worked for me! The mic in my 2020 Tiguan stopped working about 2-3 weeks ago. I tried everything. The thing that got it back working was to follow this video "restore factory settings" but THEN immediately reboot the "infotainment"/carplay system, by holding down both knobs for about 10+ seconds, until the "VW" symbol appears. Then it was restored and my microphone worked perfectly.
