i TRIED to fix the audio and video not lining up lol
This is such a cheesy cast. It's a little over the top
Nope
im here after the new wicked movie
11:26 you can hear where the covid pandemic started
I love how none of us needed to be told it was Alex, his voice is so recognizable we were ready to
Look, I love everyone I’ve ever seen do this song. But there’s something about Aaron Tveit specifically doing this choreo that I can’t take seriously😭
Omg is this foreshadowing Alex Brightman on Beetlejuice?!
Man, they really went in so deep in the film adaptation of this sequence.
they did it justice ❤
They gave this scene actual soul in the film. This is so dry and empty in comparison. I feel no motivation behind these characters or the staging or the actors portrayal. Whereas in the film it’s simply magical. It encapsulates the entire film. Here Galinda saves elphie out of guilt by teaching her a dance and in the film Galinda learns Elphaba’s dance in an act of solidarity. This subtle distinction of Galinda adopting elphaba’s movements instead of teaching Elphaba as depicted here on stage, Galinda sees Elphaba and shows her true unconditional love for the first time. So totally different
@@carlosfernandez1300 No, the stage show is magical as is. It's preposterous to say the source material is "soulless", when it's simply a completely different medium portraying it. Of course there will be more colors and more close-ups and more props - it's a movie, for Christ's sake. It's just as magical witnessing actors doing all of this live directly in front of you.
I was watching the Johnathan Bailey version and I saw this and I said put loud “AARON TVEIT…. TRIPP VANDERBILT”. I may be a theater kid but at heart am also a Gossip Girl girlie.
People laughing at Elphaba's dance really don't understand anything
the dancing is random and unusual. something can be funny and emotional at the same time
The 6:35 portion sounds like the dress salesman’s pitch to Elle Woods in the “OMG” song from Legally Blonde
He’s perfect, no matter what. Thank you for this clip. 🎶💕😊
I adore Aaron Tveit’s voice ❤
I didn't know that Aaron Tveit and Alex Brightman were in the show at the same time. That's incredible.
Indeed it is
The dance moves in "Dancing through Life" are meant to be comedy. Aaron Tveit nailed it.
And foreshadowing…
@BroadwayBound009 how are the dance moves foreshadowing?
@@toby4643 do you want a massive spoiler for what happens in act 2?
god damn, taken too soon
@@CzolgoszWorkinMan way too soon. it’s awful. he was so beloved in the community, just such kind hearted man with so much talent. i had the privilege of seeing him live in this role and i will never forget it. he will be missed🩷
:(
@@openchestedDamn.. what happened to him?
@@jjmaligaya3507he died of Sarcoma in September
Many men have done a great job bringing their own magic into this song and this role. One thing I admire about Aarong Tveit's performance is his superb movement. His body is in a perpetual motion with his energy starting in his solar plexus and moving out to the tips of his fingers and the point of his foot. It's almost as if he's supported by water. Watch how superbly - and effortlessly - he lets onto the statue, turns around, and moves into a seated position. HIs shoulders and legs work in provocative opposition. Check out 2.52 to 3.02: a masterpiece of flexibility and extension.

Aaron and Alex?? My heart is a happy heart. Thank you for uploading this, new friendo.
Does anyone else think that when fiyero and galinda first danve at the ozdust he looks like a chicken
His dance moves foreshadow his fate in Act 2. There are many moments where he looks like he's on a fence post and/or limber looking.
BOOKNOOK‼️🔥🗣️💯
