Bengal invented chhana/Chhena during Portugese rule in eastern India.Chhana is a main ingredient of Rosogolla.Arter it's invention Sweet makers of Nadia district invented 1st Rosogolla in 16 th century. After some time,Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya migrated from Nadia--Puri to live at his ancestoral land (1509-1533).And then he introduced Banglar Rosogolla(Santipur , Ranaghat Rosogolla)in Odia society. But, odia people banned chhena/chhana in their temple because it is a distorted milk product. And they killed mahaprabhu in puri.Odia reference 'Dandi Ramayan' ,written in 1467 by Balram das, which odia people are introducing as proof to claim "Banglar Rosogolla".It's origial copy is not available.Original 'Dandi Ramayan' was written in 'Tal Patra'. Morden copy of 'Dandi Ramayan' is duplicate & pretty much distorted by Re-writers.Re-writers added "Rosgola" word in their distorted 'Dandi Ramayan'. even,There is no mention of Rosogolla in Jagannath Prabhus bhog, in a old book like 'chaitnya charitamrita'.So you can understand how odisha is spreading disinformations.

While no doubt Amitabh as angry young man is iconic.. is there any doubt the character was taken from Dirty harry released in 1971 and an Indian version created around it. Mr India did the same with Superman movies.

Right.. The Rasagula is given to please Goddess Laxmi by Lord Jagannath at the time of Niladri Bije ,last ritual of Rath yatra... the point is that its one kind of prasad or bhoj to be offered to lord jagannath.. so the common people at that point of time did not think to make it in their home as they regarded as Rasagula is a holy thing as its a prasad or bhoj .. for which the Rasagula is comfined to puri in the ancient period... after that slowly its widespread though out odisha... another aspect is be frank to say odia people from the ancient past battling with proverty and misery so they didn't afford to make it in every household for which it has not been spread and reach to common people of odisha... and also the people of odisha have not the habit to take desert after main course like bengali or other people of india.. rather we hv practice to have sweets in the breakfast or in evening snacks... another most important factor is not only rasagula there are verieties of sweets are in odisha.. chenapoda of Nayagarh Rasabali of of kendrapada chennajhilli of Nimapada also Rabidi and peda offered as bhog or prasad at khirachora gopinath temple , Remuna, balasore

This guy is uploading pics of Anu Malik and Himesh Reshamia. Why has he not uploaded pics of more than 57 composers and singers photos from where RDB was ‘INSPIRED’ I am a very die hard lover of RDB. All the first line musicians have had lunches and dinners at our place including Manohari Da , Buji Lord sir, Homi Bhai, Kancha bhai and many more. But I am realistic lover of RDB not a blind disciple ( AB) The list of uploading for this gentleman is much longer. Requesting him if he has uploaded photos of AM and HR he should upload the photos of more than 57 such personalities round the globe.

I am a die hard RDB lover. It were also The Three Wise Men who has a fantastic contribution in making and building the Brand Pancham which is not usually mentioned by one composer fans. Further more on a social platform glorifying RDB telling that there wouldn’t have been Anu Mailks and Himesh R if RDB wasn’t there its a idolatry statement. We all know RDB has been very heavily influenced by foreign composers and musicians and yes a lot many works are inspired but its ok My point is that straight way naming Anu and Himesh was much shallow part of the episode. We all know the original Mehebuba song too. There should be hundreds of photos of international composers here too😃 Not taking any other composers name is a better way of glorifying.

Beside scholar music creators for hindi films like basant desai, madanmohan, usha khanna, naushad, shankar jaikishen, lakshmikant-pyralel, hemant kumar, sachindeb barman, salil choudhury, sardar malik, s mohindar, ramlal, ram ganguly, vinod, anil biswas how can rahul deb barman be called " king of bollywood music"? Rahuldeb barman let himself swept away by his inherent disposition to blindly copy western cheap music. Shankar jaikishen extensively used zazz in many of their immortal compositions. It is adviseable to listen hindi film music from 1940 to 1965 to differentiate between everlasting creations of above-mentioned maestros and cheap compositions of rahuldeb barman. Mere emotional and utterly impractical appreciation of rahuldeb barman has nothing to do with the golden era of hindi film music compositions. Compositions by rahuldeb were totally devoid of soul filled with disgusting noises.

Good that there was no internet in those days. Whole of India would have still enjoyed his music but at least they would have known that most of the tunes were unabashedly copied from Western songs without giving any credit to the original composers. But kudos to him for the music mixing on those which made it better than the original. And full credit to him for many of his original compositions that have no comparison.

I used to look up to all the yesteryear composers because of the less technological advancements during that time and delivered the best music. But the internet happened and I came to know that most of their music were straight up copy or little bit of changes from other countries musicians which the normal people had no excess to at that time, it is still done in modern day music scene in India most notably known or accused is Pritam. All the expectations or the respect I had for them is lost now tbh, the only music composer I kinda look upto is AR Rahman.
