I think I can conclude this was a lazy, rushed port. Nothing appears to be added, but a lot was taken out such as the good atmospheric music from the floppy version. Even if the graphics were drastically improved with some speech instead of text, the audio would have ruined it.

I think they really missed the boat on this. The audio on the floppy version was so much better and gave the game a better atmosphere. It's better than the PC port which was something I was quick to delete from my system after installing it.
