It doesn't, it's a 2" T with a 2"x1½" copper nipple into the backflow. Then 1½" all the way out to the wall.

I like the idea. But questions about this system. What happens in the event that somewhere in the pipe tubes leaks a hole or gets busted. What are the implications of repair done? Would be as easy as removing a section of the tube? Or does it require to replace the whole band of tubes ?

@@metalmassacre84for concrete you’ll put thunder down, then your pan. Step on pan and work air out/secure bond. Let dry for 30-45 minutes. Thinset around drain hole, install drain. Last you’ll apply membrane to the edges (wall meets shower, floor meets curb, top of curb.) allow time to dry, then lazer your tiles and install.

I have a 1500 sq ft 1st floor - 1 master bed + bath, 2 smaller bed rooms, 1 small bath and a large loft. Currently, it is served by an aging gas furnace + AC. The return is one single grill in the hall way. Master Bed and loft has two supply registers and rest are one register each. My guess is that I will need 36K BTU heat pump for this. Can one or two such slim duct Fujitsu serve this floor ? Since the opening to attic is too small ( attic itself is big ) to take up a full size air handler, I am considering this slim duct option . Another constraint is that only vertical mount option is feasible for supply registers in master bed and loft, as the roof is slanting cathedral type with no attic space there. Attic is available for rest of the rooms , bath and hallway. I guess these slim duct AH can be vertically mounted too .
