We are the leading Government credit institution in Kenya mandated to provide credit for the purpose of agricultural development.
Meet Mr. Michael Lugonzo, the young successful Horticulture farmer in Trans-Nzoia County.
Mr. Lugonzo manages Kireka Farm, located in Endebess Division, Chorlim Location, Trans Nzoia County. At Kireka Farm, Mike, as his friends affectionately call him, is dedicated to cultivating a wide variety of crops across his 300-acre farm. His diverse operations include:
🌽 300 acres of seed maize
🌾 10 acres of sorghum
🌱 30 acres of seed beans
🌺 Flower production
🌳 20 acres of trees and coffee
🥬 Horticultural production:
8 acres of cabbage (150,000 heads)
4 acres of French beans (1.8 metric tonnes per acre)
🌽 300 acres of seed maize
🌾 10 acres of sorghum
🌱 30 acres of seed beans
🌺 Flower production
🌳 20 acres of trees and coffee
🥬 Horticultural production:
