Personal gameplay in World of Tanks Console from a Hong Kong player.
WoT Console CW || Marder 1A1 || 8.1k dmg 7 kills Ace
Game tips: the game went closer than I would have wanted, but it's just hard to control what your teammates would do. Ended up a hairy win (probably) by a lucky ATGM on the MOBAT, and I nearly gave it away by falling to death.
At 4 vs 5 it was clear that all 5 enemies were hole up in their base, no idea why the WZ-122 4 decided to take them all on when rest of the team were spread across the map, I knew the WZ was dead and took the chance to take down the 2 low HP enemies.
Then again, the AMX and the Ignis on my team just decided they would take turn to be a hero and die. Facing the Ignis (low HP), Type 79, MOBAT, we had the burst firepower advantage, should have just reload and rushed in t...

Game tips: what a crazy game where the no.1 ranked player of both teams got over 10k damage, and for some reason we won by the skin of our teeth. If the enemy T-80B was a better player surely we would have lost. Happy to get the Ace.

Game tips: another game with no Ace, I even blocked 2.6k with an AMX lol. Rushed in a bit towards the end as it was surely a win, maybe if I played more cautiously could have pushed over the Ace threshold.

Game tips: 1.6k base exp and no Ace by a very stock Era 3 Magach 6B, oh well. Mediums in Era 3 are quite difficult as the MBTs have way more armor, gun handling could be marginally better on the mediums if I am not wrong, but the mobility of this stock Magach 6B is just terrible.

Game tips: thought it was going to be an Ace game but oh well. After the ATGM minimum arming distance change, it is better for the game but certainly harder for ATGM light tanks to do massive damage.

Game tips: Quite an one-directional game where we won the gun fight. A T-54 kind of tank is a bit left-behind in Era 2.

Game tips: Nothing much to say in the short tier III grind of the Japanese TD line, I think more than half of the teams were bots.

Game tips: Imo this is one of the dirtiest tanks in Era 1. It has a small gun and is a small target so enemies tend not to shoot at you first. In mid-game I charged the enemy NM-116 and nearly got killed, but only I held that hill it was easy sniping at the various targets, and the NM-116 snaps out shots very quickly.

Game tips: Still some way from finishing the grind to the Kranvagn, I don't really like the inter-clip reload and god the mobility is terrible for such a vulnerable tank.

Game tips: Last game in the RU 251 before unlocking the Panzerwagen, nice and easy Ace. Dukla Pass is a vision-centric map in mid to late game, so when there was a chance, I got stuck in to hunt down their AMX 105. It was very hard for the enemy team to turn around at that point.

Game tips: Close game that got even closer at the end than needed, felt the Progetto 65 player should be good enough (with his numbers) to know that he is dead to drive out in the open against the T30 looking dead at his way. Game tips: in a very stock Stingray 2 and a very laggy game and somehow got the Ace. This "light tank" is less mobile than most MBTs in Era 3. It's a big target with a decent gun, you can hit targets consistently on the move at a distance (but same can be same for many tanks in Era 3). Hands down this is not an easy tank in Era 3 - Wiesels love to wreck you, so be aware when they are in the gam...

Game tips: Enemy team was too campy at their side of the swamp so there was no chance for them winning to start with. Got a few lucky shot to ramp up assisted/ tracked damage but other than that it's all run-n-gun.

Game tips: carried pretty hard and still went down to the wire for the win. HP management was not great as I rushed into 3 tanks trying to cause havoc for my team to clean up, and luckily left enough at the end to trade one shot with the Leopard. Game tips: I used fully camo set up for this TD, its gun has low alpha and the DPM is not all that impressive. I hit 30 shots (some didn't pen some were HE half-damage) to get 5.9k when a 4005 could get to that number in 5 HESH shots. hello there, im at the tier 7 before the lynx and its a great tank. the lynxs speed isnt really that good wich makes me ask 1 question. is the lynx still playable in an aggeresiv atacking style (at the very front)
I really struggle in this tank for some reason.
It’s good tank with solid armor, issue is weak pen capacity and no atgm
I’ve sold it before😢 have to buy it back

I think equipment are optics, gun laying drive, and gun stabilizer. Commander skills - the essential ones (sixth sense, reload etc.) and everything towards the gun handling.

They only that i like in WOT compared to WT is that T-72 have infront the commander's sight because there is no use of the top MG so it looks more realistic while on WT it goes backwards in order to use the MG on top and still use commander's sight even that way feels a bit strange

What is your equipment set up? I my favorite track but the armor isn’t the greatest
For nearly all CW tanks - loader, gun stabilizer, tracks. Shouldn't rely on armor in Era 2 except for the FV4211, or the T-72AV to a certain extent but it's not as reliable as the 4211 (not even close).

Would bounce some auto-aimed shots from lower tier tanks, but don't count on it. The whole line is a meme. Sturmpanzer is the best, if you can't live with it I don't recommend you continue.

Equipment: Advanced Loader, Gun Stabilizer, Advanced Camouflage, Enhanced Target Info Crew: Born Leader, Rapid Loading, Steady Aim, Sixth Sense, Snap Shot, Track Mechanic, Controlled Impact, Armor Angling, Situational Awareness I use one universal crew for all my CW Western Alliance tanks so it's not specifically set up for lights I don't think Gun Stabilizer is a must on Sheridan given its main point is the ATGMs, I have recently switched to Traction System.

Great match! Why don’t you use the speed mode? I find it hard to make the wheeled tanks competitive all the time because of the driving mechanics. I have the feeling the game isn’t made for them 😅
Because a pleb like me thought the speed mode only exists for the Tier IX and X (honest answer). Wheeled tanks are not as competitive I agree, they are fun occasionally but for the most part a pain to drive with a console controller.

The sturmtiger p is fun when you end up on top tier games, but chances of winning are low. 3 marked that thing, and it is still pain to use working my way up to the bär.

IMO no it's not, much better DPM with the first one. 2nd gun has better pen but every module costs a lot in CW.
