That music was so relaxing...😂
B&D should view assembly videos by others to learn proper manner to assemble and to proper manner to present assembly video
how to use? mine does not detect anything
i like it
Für eine Vorführung wäre eventuell ein dunkler Boden sinnvoller..
Instructions that come with product is horrible and the video is not very detailed. Be prepared to figure out yourself during assembly.
Total crap to put together, plus I had to file down the metal where the blocks sit under the vice jaws. The unit is great once to put together but shame on black and decker for the pathetic instructions and poor quality parts.
same stupid fuckin video that's incorrect.. fuck out of here
Very helpful video! 1. Play all the way through once. 2. Then re-start the video and be ready to hit the pause button while you actually assemble what was just described and shown. 3. After it is paused, you might have to back it up just a little, to actually see how the parts are being put together, which way to put the bolt, etc. 4. The only detail I could not see that well, was the two braces, note: the angle part of the back brace should be on the bottom, The flat part on the top of the brace. You will see this when he does the front brace that has the B & D logo on it. 5. Go on to the next step and be ready to hit pause while you assemble. 6. Keep going in this fashion until you are done. 7. I did it just as described above and it only took me a short time to assemble the whole thing without any hiccups.
I bought two of these and I just finished assembly of the 2nd one. The B & D Logo on the front brace on the 2nd one had the angle on the top instead of the bottom. So first one angle on bottom, 2nd one angle on the top. So I guess it doesn't matter which way the angle part of the brace faces, up or down?
What is the size of the holes on the wooden tops?
Muchas gracias por el video, me ayudó mucho. Saludos a todos.
indeed.... for life
Well Frank, after almost 50 years you would think B&D could could be smart enought to make instructions that dont take Frank the tone deaf to explain. I design deterministic and redundant avionics systems and both Frank in this video and the idiot that drew out the postage size instructions would have been fired day one. If you are finding yourself here after struggling with the crappy instructions, two key notes: 1) your legs may be assembled backwards from the factory like mine were. Just pry the cinch washer loose, reassemble in the order you need and use two sockets and a hammer to reassemble in the correct order 2) The mounting blocks go on upside down on the top rail. Both should have the bolt heads reassessed in the top wood planks when complete and both wood planks should have the groove surface inward Black & Decker, if you are still a viable company, please petition to have the instructions updated to show the orientation of the blocks and wood planks during installation and ask your quality control to check why some legs are installed backwards.
This thing was a nightmare to put together. The instructions were poor- the video skipped over crucial parts. Took me 3 hours to finally figure it out. Warning, the handles are the worst.
Total crap to put together, plus I had to file down the metal where the blocks sit under the vice jaws. The unit is great once put together but shame on black and decker for the pathetic instructions & poor quality parts!
Hi, where can I buy this mop in Mumbai...
Don’t buy it, there’s too many defects
Just purchased one of these to make a portable reloading (ammo) bench.
Is the top part that has Black and Decker written on it for the bar at the bottom and the front supposed to be two and a half inch longer than the back bar? Don't know what to do next. So my talk Bottom bar facing the front that has Black & Decker written on it is about two and a half inch longer than the bottom, without Black & Decker written on it
I came to this video because the printed instructions were so bad (illustrations didn’t match instructions). The video helped but it was difficult to see the correct direction the slide blocks.
Poorly done! You do this as if we should know the workmate the way you do..Considering you make the thing, maybe you could explain it easier for "dummies" like me who have never seen this thing before. I got it done but mostly from others bits and pieces of instructions I could find. Oh, and the instruction manual STINKS!
hmm
No good
The long stew thing doesn't look the same and the instructions in the book look different. I have a sort of transparent plastic thing on the end of the long screw. I'm confused.
Yeah, where does that go?
I cant see any steam
Excelente video!!! Gracias y saludos desde México!!! 👍
anybody else hammer in the pins before they realized the rod needs to go through the hole? Now i cant get the pins out because they arent solid so ii's not like i can hammer them out with a nail or anything
very poor instructions , identify the parts first
1st!!!
The introduction to this video is in English, but the commentary is in German - no subtitles either! The quite excellent Swiss Army knife is sold in other countries too! Not impressed.
Fuck YOU Home Depot! The Rest of the world wants this shit too!
There's Matt! :)
I thought your Workmate (WM125) would be great for a project I am working on. You even have a great video online to show me how to put it together. However, from the looks of it, the front and back bracket should be the same size. The front bracket is at least an inch wider on either side (pictures attached). It must be for one of your other models. I called and they said they could not overnight me a new bracket. They said it could take anywhere from 3 - 10 business days to ship. They told me I could go 20 miles to the "nearest service center to get another one. All of these are my options. Instead, I am going to take it half put back together to Home Depot and find another brand of workbench to use. facebook.com/tracylynndeis/posts/10153178327188336?pnref=story
I've gotten nowhere with your FB page either. You've lost a customer. Since I have to wait 9 days anyway. At least the people at Home Depot will help me put it together, and it looks like better construction. www.homedepot.com/.../Construction-Zone.../205466828
Well, the lady at Home Depot THINK that we know what was wrong. The directions AND this video (at 1:08) tell you to install the rear bracket OVER the two legs. Most likely, it should have been installed IN BETWEEN the two legs. But that was too late for my good taste. It was already back at the store, your customer service did not make me aware of this problem when I called for assistance, and then the escalation department took all day to reply to me via the telephone. I was not about to take it home and try it again because of an error in your instructions. When I called the 800 number, there should have been an alert in the system saying that you modified the design and the instructions are no longer correct. Oh well. Guess I work on something else while I wait for the new bench (from another company) to get here.
Tracy Lynn Deis i followed instructions then when finished the bench was crooked also holding me back from working on projects i knew this thing was cheap and instructions were confusing but should not be crooked now i have to figure out what i did wrong or if i was sold defective item
How do you convert this to an edger? I can't get the head to turn.
The single p118 charger has the overall best system, it doesn't cycle off and on every 5 days like the p125, but rather every 2 days. This process should be implemented in the p125 supercharger. Its better to charge your battery on a hour charger instead of the 30min. charger. Less stress on the charger and battery and will prolong both your battery and charger. Now if you had 6 of the p118 chargers you could have each battery charging at the same time unlike the p125. Also if you have one charger go bad you just change that charger out and your not stuck with a 6 port charger that will not work. But at $30 for each charger thats $180. Too expensive. The p125 supercharger is $80 at HD. So I use the p125 with a timer set for every 12 hours every day. Works great.
A tip on the 6 port supercharger p125....once it goes into energy save mode after 12 hours, it will not turn back on until you push the blue button or in five days. So I have found if you grab a battery on the 4 day, the battery is not fully charged but rather about 75% charged until the 5th day in which the charger turns on and tops off all the batteries. Then the process starts again; charge, maintain for 12 hours, then energy save mode until 5 days. In that order. Ok here is the tip, use a wall outlet timer, set it to turn on at 7am or earlier if you use your batteries sooner and set it to turn off at 7pm or later if you you use your batteries after dark. So by doing this the charger will maintain the batteries every 12 hours everyday instead of every 5 days. So anytime you grab a battery from the 1st day or the 4th day your batteries will have 100% charge even the old Nicad batteries every time. Also if you unplug your charger for more than a day, please make sure you take your batteries "OUT" of the charger. They "WILL" discharge, if you forget and leave them in the "UNPLUGGED" charger for longer than 2 days, the batteries will discharge to the point of no return and ruin your batteries. "Don't say I didn't warn you!" So use the timer and your good to go. Make sure you take your batteries out if you unplugged the charger for more than a day and you will never have to worry about this again. With that said, I feel this Supercharger is a brilliant idea that just needs a little modification to work properly. Once this setup is in place, its wonderful.
