I’m very sad to report that Microsoft and the Xbox brand as a whole is still lagging behind both the Sony PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch with their Xbox Series X/S. At this point it’s gonna take divine intervention for Xbox to gain traction. For one, don’t close down studios while making overly stupidly expensive purchases of other game studios.

Why is it that people act like there was a console war? And these people who suggest that the 360 sold more than the PS3, are only comparing American sales......they fail to remember that the rest of the world exists and that Playstation easily sells more than double what xbox could even dream of. There never was a console war. Unless you are pretending that only America exists. Which is what xbox fanboys need to do in order to feel hope.

The only people that think there was a console war after Sega vs. Nintendo, are the delusional xbox fanboys..... They ignore the facts and figures for the sake of argument. And once you take the time to educate, correct, and show them the facts. They love to bring up the xbox 360 as a desperate last attempt.....Then you have to sit them down like a small child and gently explain to them the fact that the only reason the 360 sold as many consoles as they did, was merely because over 50% (over half) of the original 360 consoles got the red ring of death and became worthless. So dumb people went out and bought another one. And another one when it happened again. Plus all those failures ended up costing Microsoft/xbox millions and millions of dollars.....so once again, in the end they lost. And the sales figures are bloated because of it. So you have to subtract many millions of those sales....xbox was never in a console war, a console battle, or even a console argument with Playstation. It's as if xbox never even showed up. So stop all of this delusional xbox fanboy shit. Wake up and smell reality. Not to mention the fact that xbox is now going to start selling all their shitty exclusives on other platforms in a desperate attempt to start making profits on them. Because they were left with no other choice. They failed. And again, please stop pretending there was a console war. If you are so desperate to pretend there was a console war, Playstation's only potential competitor was Nintendo.....so start trying to push that narrative. That way you people won't seem so illogical and delusional.

Buy Xbox lost well over a billion on tge 360 in recalls alone so I think they had much less profit than Playstation did

In my opinion the PlayStation 2 won round one by a landslide against the Xbox and round 2 the 360 won by a landslide against the ps2 as it became the standard and then the ps4 won round 3 by a landslide against the Xbox one and round 4 also goes to the ps5 against the Xbox series x/s Honestly both have there strong suits I personally own both the ps5 and series s I can personally say as of right now I use my ps5 more as I love the exclusives much more than Xbox’s current roster

Competition is a good thing as it forces both Sony and Microsoft to not rest on their laurels and pushes them to keep innovating and giving better deals to consumers. If Sony did not lean so heavy into the missteps of the Xbox one reveal, there is a good chance that Microsoft would have stuck to their guns with their anti consumer policies. Just because you have the better platform one generation does not buy you customer loyalty in the video game market and both Sony and Microsoft know this.

Xbox One is the greatest console ever. If people actually know the truth they would steer clear of Sony's consoles, they are an evil empire and completely about profits and making "slim" but inferior consoles. It's utter trash. xbox game pass is the best deal in gaming and is made for the consumer in mind but most people support Sony. "shrugs shoulder"

The console war wasn't a thing last generation, there was just countless PS fanboys commenting "PS Better" & "Xbox got no games" on every single official Xbox social media post for the entire generation. Nit picking charachter detail in games wasn't a thing prior to the Craig meme PS fanboys initiated. Nit picking physics detail in a game wasn't a thing before PS fanboys started going on about fruit physics in Xbox games. ect. Notice any kind of trend here?

See, I thought the Order was too long if anything. Every second playing it seemed excruciatingly tedious to the point the game felt 5 times as long as it actually was. I say, let the IP stay buried and let another, more worthy one get it's chance in the sun.

The 360 & PS3 is what I say was “The war between consoles” or what officially started it and ended with the PS4 & XB1. Covid was a contributing factor in ending it imo, but in my POV, I can’t stay loyal to one. I love video games too much that I need all 3. Yes I do enjoy the “vs” stuff and topics, but with how each brand is in 2022, they’re all good in their own way. Recently I’ve been enjoying the shit out of my PS5, but I’ve had my fair share with the XB1 and Switch. Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter, Splatoon, I’ve enjoyed playing plus other titles on Switch. Xbox I use for online, so Minecraft, Monster Hunter World, GTA, Forza, Halo, I’ve made good memories with and had many great times with it. PlayStation I use for story/exclusive, so Guardians of the Galaxy, Astros Playroom, Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Red Dead Redemption 2, I’ve been enjoying these games and stories, and how fast I can get to the next after next. I’ve had my fair share in all and I enjoy all. This generation of gaming, you can go either way

I feel like glossing over the CSI games is a bit of a mistake, there was a lot of good stuff there. It’s clear that they worked a lot on developing their engine and design philosophy with those games, as well as probably giving the company some early revenue streams, as the games sold fairly well

I’m convinced telltales biggest failure was RUclips videos. I think they gained a lot of hype from them early on, but in the end lost out on most of what could have been sales with people just watching the games on RUclips instead
