One of my favorite movies

I first heard her sing when some DJ in NYC played her CD about 15 yrs ago. Thanks for the reminder to find it:)

The first song is Ukrainian and I think it was filmed at Rasputin's in Paris. A well famous cabaret Kuban Cossacks had a 15 years act the Koumpan brothers, Swered brothers and Vasyl Kowalenko .

Old fart here...First saw her in New York years ago and had no idea who she was. There were two couples and we were blown away! The other time I saw her I was by myself in San Francisco at a larger venue. Paid a premium for third row center and worth every penny. The entire audience was very appreciative.

I've never heard it sung better! This was my Dad's favorite song. I would play it, and he would sing. But I haven't shed a tear over it, until hearing Maude sing it. Just... Lovely!!!
