USATF Outdoor National Championships is just a week away for Hobbs Kessler, Morgan Beadlescomb, and Mason Ferlic. They take on one of their last workouts before the rounds begin on Thursday, July 6th. Ben Flanagan does a modified version of Ron Warhurst's famous "Michigan" workout with the help of Morgan Beadlescomb, Nathan Mylenek, and others. The VNTC women also take part in their own rendition of the Michigan. We hope this inspires everyone to get out, run fast, and have fun.

The whole crew is back in town to help Ben Flanagan finish off his dream season strong. It's all about teamwork as Hobbs, Nate Mylenek, and Eric Avila help pace Ben through his workout. Ben would go on to win the Canadian 5k road champs, coming up just short of the Canadian record on this attempt, but he's not giving up yet.

VNTC has a number of exciting guys on the team at the moment. I always enjoy the video, whatever the activity is. But you have done just THREE videos in 7 months, that's not enough in a year that you have Beadlescomb, Flanagan, Kessler, and Ferlic looking to qualify for the WC. Did the producer get a job that is occupying his time? Someone else should take up the cause. This wonderful time won't last forever. Some athletes will retire, Ron will reach his limit. You should record it while you can. 😢

Hobbs could rip an 800 with some dedicated attempts and Morgan’s got some surprising speed/speed endurance!
He ran 1:45.8 in NYC and came third while beating a bunch of 800m specialists
@@BendOver-kf9zz He'd run 1:44 mid to high with a couple more attempts at it, but I'm sure he knows that as well.
@@codycornell2212 And it turns out, of course, that he ran 1:43.64 at the 2024 Trials. But Alan Webb was just about as fast over 800m, and much faster than Kessler over 10,000m, and his career was a bit disappointing.
@@randyevermore9323 I saw that. I personally wasnt surprised. And while I doubt Hobbs will ever really run a 10k, I’d bet Hobbs 3k/5k PRs are waaaaay better than Webbs when all is said and done. He ran 7:3X a couple years ago and only recently started to up the mileage and double threshold
