Our June tour that visited Halifax, Lunenburg, Kejimkujik National Park, Digby, Bay of Fundy, Saint John, Charlottetown (PEI), Point Primm, driving the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton up to Ingonish, Eagle watching at Baddeck, bird and seal watching at Big Bras D'Or, the beautiful riverside Liscombe Mills and back to Halifax.

On our visit to Nova Scotia we discovered the life and art of Maude Lewis, who lived near Digby. She lived in a tiny house, had a terrible arthritic condition from an early age, but found fame from her simple, but charming paintings. Her painted house was preserved and restored in the Halifax Museum of Art, along with many of her beautiful paintings. There is a dramatic film about her life call...
