Honestly, Niylah is arguably the kindest and gentlest character on the show and I feel like she gets clobbered by insane zealots waaaay too often. HOMEGIRL CAN’T EVEN FIGHT BACK. Also, give her more screen time. ALSO, her and Clarke still have vibes and I adore everything about this scene. In conclusion, Niylah is bae. ✌🏻

I was very sad and had mixed feelings watching this scene.. I was super excited and happy to FINALLY see Niylah again (and alive), it's a really beloved and underrated character of mine. I love her due to her personality traits and moral compass. But now.. I still have hope but it felt like a strike in the heart of mine she would betray Clarke for this Octavia regarding Madi.. She has changed.. But now it becomes complex; I was sad, hurt and even a bit dissapointed that she was willing to betray Clarke in this situation due to her not being the same character I love dearly in past seasons.. Then again what 'caused' this shift is also one trait I love and value in her, her loyalty. Those loyalties are shifted now but non the less, that trait is still there. Also, she genuinly felt sorry to need to betray Clarke and she genuinly thanked Clarke and was happy to give her that black panther figure (which was a great refference I might add :3). Also another trait I love about her, her compassion. Her core traits are still there, her moral compass too but it is partly 'clouded' by this new loyalty to a cold leader. That's why I won't give up on her yet, I refuse. I really hope that now that the whole 'true nightblood' thing is out towards Octavia, that she becomes closer to the character I have loved up till now, this underrated character and COMPLEX character. I don't know whether that's gonna happen yet but I still have hope so to speak.. Too bad she doesn't have much screen time for more character development.. I REALLY hope to see more of her in this season.. Did my explanation make sense a bit?^^; xD (also, was it complete loyalty to Octavia/Wonkru, or also a touch of fear..? I wanna know..)
