You would still need the Breakout Box as it will be connected to the 3.1Ex 1-10 Port. You use the same breakout box for both and use both channels. I have not tried to chain 2 of them together on the same port, but the Breakout box supports two channels so could easily use 1 channel for the 1 light and the second for the other.

I did not get the Tideline Sump, I went with a Royal Exclusive Sump as I wanted the Roller to built into the Sump.

Yes, I used to be heavily invested in Neptune Systems but had a tank crash caused by the system that the techs at the time could not explain as the unit was running, but logs were not being produced, but it just felt like dosing everything into the tank at once. When it happened, I was across the county and could not do anything till taking a red-eye home, and the damage was done. That was almost five years ago, and I never looked back after the change. Since switching, I get my every 2-hour tank report via email and text messages of alarms. Most importantly, I have not had a unit crash, been away multiple times across the county, and never experienced an issue.

It would not be the exact IP of your Wifi Router, as your not allowed to duplicate an IP Address. So for example my IP router is 192.168.0.254 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0, I tell people to minus 10 from the IP of the router so 192.168.0.244, with a subnet of 255.255.255.0 with a default gateway of your router of 192.168.0.254 and with a DNS of 4.2.2.1.

Are you asking does the tube length between the to units needs to be exact? When it comes to the unit being side by side or stack configuration you need to cut the dosing tube to the recommend length in inches or cm outline in the manual. But the water supply line and exit line length can be variable.

@@KR-id6bl Hello. I was refering to length of hose of dosing head that is 12 cm and length of hose from head to ion must be included (16cm if stavked) and length of tube to sump plus filter 7ml. Or I am wrong?

Yes, as long as you have one SA(Stand Alone) and they are all on the latest firmware it should work

No the ION Director with a Doser can be run independent of the controller.

Are you running 2.4 or 5Mhz dual band? Is the 2.4mhz and 5mhz the same SID and password?

@@KR-id6bl yup running the 2.4ghz it worked for a while but now im not able to connect again, kinda sucks specially for such an expensive doser.

@@KR-id6bl nah bro, and it was working perfectly fine for a couple of weeks until today. Im gonna take a vacation next week and this gets me anxious. Is it fine if i just leave it in hotspot mode and let my sister just connect there to control the dosage?

@@KR-id6bl btw yes i just updated the firmware today to see if that would work but even when i ping to see if the ip would work it just says "destination host unreachable". I couldn't tweak with it for too many hours since my tank is consuming alot of alk.

You can only have one Power bar.

When I used Carbon in it I used Filter Floss inside the unit and pushed the top foam bad down and used the filter floss as a way to keep it from pushing back up.

Do you know if they defaulted the Doser when they gave it to you? it may have already had the hotspot turned off for you to configure. If this is the case, you would need to use the legacy Desktop Windows Application and connect to it via the USB port. Or contact support and ask if their another way to default the device.

I ask people what are they looking to do with the controller? How many things are you going to want to control with the power strip? Do you need to monitor Salinity? Create a list and then look at the options. I am using this on a seahorse tank, a jellyfish tank and it works great. I can use the feed mode, control Kessil lights on the 1-10 volt ports, minimal flow control with the tunze pumps on the 1-10. And it works great but on my larger tanks my 125, 250 and soon 500 it is a the full blown GHL Profilux Controller.

No, only the STDL4-4 Powerbar can be used.

You can configure and setup the entire unit from the GHL Connect App, firmware still require a computer for now.

You can automatically setup a minimum of 1 to 24 test per day that will begin at specific time and then be spaced out equally based on the number of automatic tests you wish to do. For Example, if I said 2 automated test and set the time to be Noon the tests would happen every day at Noon and Midnight. I could not set it to do it only once per week as it is a once per day option. But you could set the automatic testing to 0 and manually click the start measurement now button inside the GHL connect App once a week without any problems to conduct the test. The unit is not required to test every day for it to work. Hope this answers your question.

After talking to Kessil, and playing with the light I found adjusting the Voiltage to what was inside the video allowed for the illumination channel to match closer to the light output voltage.

The Kessil 360x does not have a 1-10 Volt port on it. Therefore it can not be controlled this way. :(

Are you running the latest GHL Version on your device? Do you have any program logic tied to the feed timer?

Hi thanks for the quick reply, your videos are a great help. The firmware version is 7.24 and no, no programmed logic in use..... last night I removed feed pause completely and still was flashing!
