In my rtts last year i was drafted as a 3B to the Rockies. I won MVP 4 times, had 60+ HR seasons 7 years in a row, the team sucked even with Juan Soto on the team and i left at the first opportunity in the final year of my rookie contract. I should be able to call out the organization for not signing winning talent, demand a trade, or make backdoor deals. When i left for the tigers in 2030 I won the WS and WS MVP and then went to seattle to win another. 7 years of dumpster team shouldn’t happen. I almost ditched the rtts playthrough halfway through my rockies stint. If they had traded me they could have gotten 4-5 top prospects

you know that you don't have to be female to play as one on rtts, right? so i don't get the criticism on this feature at all. besides that: the cutscenes and roleplay elements are painful and pointless. auto generated storylines or rivalries would be so dope. also the freedom to get traded should be included. and rewards like year end shows are a very good point.

I didn't have an issue adding women to the game as women playing baseball isn't a new concept but how you explained the issue was perfect. If you could do all of this...then why not do it for the guys?I can also see it as not a needle mover but as a baseball nut and history I'm okay with it being there as it is part of the game like the Negro is.

4:25 this needs to be a blanket statement on the whole game. The game is suffering big utilizing an outdated engine for the sake of a small portion of the player base now. If you don't have a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S there is really no reason, they are readily available and can by used at this point. This crossgen shit needs to stop.

SDS has shown time and time again they dont give a crap about offline users. Theyve all but admitted it. The ENTIRE game needs a complete overhaul. rtts, franchise, stadium creator, and even custom teams(they havent touched that since its inception) for an example

Franchise needs more of an upgrade imo. I used to be a NBA 2k myplayer kind of guy and just recently got into rtts and I find it amazing. But for those who’ve been playing longer I can see why they would be disappointed sports games have gotten lazy.

Imo, RTTS has only gotten worse over the years. MLB 20 was good. I hate loadouts bc when you get all your loadouts completed, you essentially start new characters as a diamond and have no progression after that. Removing the ability to retire was also stupid. We need the old rtts systems like from mlb 16/17. There we could retire, request a position change, we had in game cut scenes, and better character progression.

I remember when RTTS was originally called Career Mode in the early years. Just created a player, put him on a MLB team and played 9 inning games (controlling the whole team).

Call me out, but MLB The Show 19/20's RTTS was overall my favorite. I think the whole "Speedy Slugger" or "Cheesy Filth" attribute stuff was fine for the whole ballplayer thing in 21/22, but now that custom ballplayers are now RTTS only, bring back "Pure Power" or "Mr. Utility". It was just easier to understand. Also I'd love to see the "Maverick" or "Captain" thing come back where if you said or did specific things in cutscenes it affected your personality and gave you abilities like letting outfielders have better arms on something. Some might say it's unrealistic, but that's the thing. It's a video game. Modern RTTS tried to fit in with DD too much, and now with RTTS and DD completely separate, either bring back the old way or make a new one.

Dont look at franchise if you think road to the show is bad. Mvp baseball 03 and mlb the show 06 on ps2 and 2k 07 on psp had better franchise modes than mlb the show 24 does.

I’ve played RTTS since 08 and I’d just be happy with the features of 08 be returned back. Some of what you described were present back then. Like being disgruntled with your manager, adding attributes to anything and asking to be traded. What Id like to see added would be the simple things like the ability to change your age and change a setting to make you play a realist time period in the minors if you want to. At the end of the day I want realism in RTTS not a mode that is rushed and only an after thought to the micro transaction diamond dynasty mode.

Comparing the pitch clock to this stupid rule is ridiculous. I’m an old-school baseball fan who has warmed up to the pitch clock. So I’m not completely anti new rules. I do think the disengagement rule should be revoked because it doesn’t really matter to the length of games. The “Golden AB” rule is stupid because it not only ruins strategy but it also isn’t solidified. So what happens when the opposing team intentionally walks your best hitter in a tie game in the 7th inning? Do you hit him again? Do you have to have a pinch runner in his place? Do we have someone hitting back to back HRs with themselves?! Leave that part of the game alone. If you’re wanting to “speed up the game”, this is NOT the way to do it.
