    • @jackie.cheung
      @jackie.cheung 4 месяца назад

      Oh awesome! The AD09s are great, they do warm up quickly, they last long (this set has done 5 track days, 2 rallysprints, 4 skidpan events, maybe 1 event left in them), and the limit of grip is progressive (easy to catch any oversteer moments 😛). They are not uncomfortable or overly noisy on the street either, but I plan on trying some Zestino 07R or Nankang CR-S next. Hmm my guess is maybe your tyres have seen too many heat cycles and the compound has degraded?

    There’s easily a few seconds you can get on the track. Try not to have the kart sliding around too much - you’re sideways in a couple of corners and scrubbing off speed as you understeer out of the corner. Try to set yourself up with a smooth, slow and wide corner entry, and get the kart rotated with a smooth dab of the brakes. And use that boost button - hold it down as you exit the corner onto the main straight.

    @PhuVet Год назад

    Vacuum bleeding with an injector with ford hi temp fluid is what is used in most cars in SCCA, IMSA, NASCAR and pro NHRA cars. If drifters haven't discovered this yet, they should. Silicone fluid isn't allowed at most tracks because it reacts poorly with firefighting foams and takes too long to break down. This means once it hits the track, they need to cut a section of the track out to remove it. They do test for it. Road Atlanta caught a guy a while back using it at a race. Silicone has a different specific gravity than mineral fluids. Using an injector is definitely the way to go, 1 person very fast and it gets 100% of the air out. If you heat cycle your fluid in a pot ahead of time, it will even remove the air from the fluid itself.
