One of my favorite Maiden songs. Maiden played it played it sooo fast in 1985, a bit of a challenge to keep up at all times.

Piece of Mind was the first Maiden album I owned on CD, but I had already listeden a looot to the debut album, and some singles from The First Ten Years series.

Archetype Plini, half-moon amp. Bright switch off. Gain, mid, presence and treble at 2 o'clock, bass and master at noon. OD set up like I would a TS-9, drive at 0 and the rest at max. And a little reverb.

Not really needed with the high quality cameras and angles. Just watch the video the hundreds of times.

Thanks! But TBF most of the tone is from the original recording. This is mostly a camera test, and I mixed my guitar track pretty low, enough to be audible but not enough to drown out the original.
@@JohnErik666 ah I see. Thanks for at least introducing me to a cool song! Looked them up on wikipedia as well and read about the trinity (albums 2~4 I think), so will check those out eventually too. Always nice to find new music.
@@dahunlee_acousticguitar_covers “The Unholy Trinity” of Darkthrone albums are BM classics for sure, but if you enjoy this track I’d definitely recommend you check out their last four: Arctic Thunder, Old Star, Eternal Hails and Astral Fortress.
