Indian Scout Stage 1 Air Intake Install
I’ve been waiting years for more videos to be posted.
Just like mine but blue and silver and no crappy fairing or windshield👍
Their is a spot to put a padlock under your headlight to lock steering.
Random thought I had while watching this video : motorcycle helmet with 180° cameras installed on each side providing 360° recording. It would be way more aerodynamic, and doesn't seem hard to do. Have a small heads up display in the visor telling how much space the SD card has left, how long you have recorded and how much time you still have available. Small button somewhere on the helmet to turn recording on and off. Ohhh man that would be dope, seems like someone has to have made one by now! Ima be taking a look into that and you might want to aswell for these beautiful trips you take as well as saftey haha
Hey brother. I'm doing this ride Friday. Vancouver island to santa monica. What were the speed limits like? Any advice or tips?
Mostly 35-45. Highway 101 is not a fast highway and expect traffic jams on weekends. Lots of them. Especially in the northern half of the state around highway 6 to 26 and up to 30. It gets faster the further south you go. Very scenic the entire way though. Love watching the landscape change all the way to California. Cheers and ride safe!
Awesome vid. Found your channel and am enjoying all these rides. Getting excited for the summer out here in WA. Sad that you haven't made a video in a while. Hope you are doing well brother.
All good brother. Still riding but making less videos. Maybe more to come soon! Appreciate you.
Hey dude, what jacket is that? Looks cool.

Excellent review. thank you
Can this filter be washed? The stock filter seems to have replacement filter media but I can't find any of the red filter media so I would assume it's washable.. but I'm not sure. Any idea?
I believe so but it’s best to check on the manufacturers website. Which I still have to do 😂.
One of the best reviews of the Scout I have seen. Appreciate you sharing your experience.
Thank you for sharing and being honest. You speak well. Aloha
Beautiful ride ! Thanks for the video too
Love the Chem Trails in your video ? You’re so free ?
Nice road to ride on.
Really love how the Scouts look, but man, they are really small in person.
Entry level cruiser it’s a 560 lb bike.
It’s ergonomically sound for an average person though.
Do you recommend this on long hours of riding/ touring? Is it comfortable? With passenger? Or i need to change shocks(aftermarket) or adjust the stock shocks tire pressure and handle bar?
We enjoyed this video! Were you able to go back to Takhlak for your follow up review of the campground?
Great video! I camped here a few years back but forgot what it was called. Came across your video and reserved a river spot for my fiancé and I this weekend. Can't wait to get out there. Keep up the great work~!
Only 4 comments this vid is 42 minutes too long!!!
Wow! You really enjoy every second! Wonderful trip!
What campsite were you in?
Apologies as I cannot recall. It was on the near side of the river, somewhat close to the entrance and directly across from the bathrooms.
Why.....just why/
Without any delay boring.
I’d rather watch ants build a hill than this vid!
Video coming out on that soon!
I love this color scheme! Kind of wish they came with spoked wheels and white wall tires and same teal color on the outer hub of the tire!
Should rename channel to nw scout momo
Not sure why anybody would want spoked wheels. Really? Are you daft or something?
Good video thanks. Great riding too!,
Thank you for your honesty.
What’s the music ? Perfect timing for this review. Thnx !!
I took this bike for a testdrive after looking at it for a half a year, I was abit disappointed. First of all I will say it's a nice bike, good tourque and comfortable but damn, it's soooo small. I went and bought myself a Victory Cross Roads instead for several reasons. I'm glad you enjoy it but for me, It was way to small for my taste.
Pictures and videos are sure deceiving, I had the same impression, I went to a dealer and was literally shocked when I seen the bike in person. Maybe it was just a first impression, never seen one in person, but wow, soooooo small.
22:01 Having an adventure during the review.
Interesting review, I agree with the pathetic headlight it needs a decent LED installed. I have a 2016 Scout and haven’t had any problems with now over 25,000klms. I replaced the seat with a Corbin Tour seat and upgraded the exhaust and a Zipper intake now 105.6hp dynoed at the back wheel with the readout. Bike now pulls like a train, I rode in 46°C (114°F) for 1,000 klms (620m) and sat on 120 klms/hr (74½ mph) and it never missed a beat including temperature, it never went over 80°C (176°F). I’ve done multiple long distance rides and the Scout performed great. 2 up touring with full saddle bags and a massive pack on the back sissy bar, went great. Only gripe is the 250klm (134m), it could do with a bigger tank, but after 2½ hours in the saddle I was happy for the break.
It is pronounced Kat-Cheese Lake with the long e sound. It is an Indian name.
Wheres part 3???? lol
Part of Star Wars or Jurassic park (I don’t remember which one, my dad told me about it the first time I visited there) was filmed in those ferns in the way down to the camp ground.
Cheyenne Brooke I definitely got the Endor vibe from the forests!
I got the corona from this guy coughin on the damn Mic every 30 seconds.
Awesome bike but why is this guy so out of breath? It's making me nervous
It could be altitude, or being a badass outlaw and he hasn’t talked to anybody in months cause he’s been a rolling stone
At 12,000 miles or so you should be thinking of replacing the clutch cable. You don't want the clutch cable to break When you're miles from home. It's best to replace the cables before they become a problem. I've had the clutch and throttle cable break on me and it's not going to happen again. Keep that throttle cable lubed as well, and think about replacing it when you're close to 15k miles. Always be thinking preventative maintenance. Putting 20 drops or so of motor oil down the clutch cable won't hurt either. Always strive for maximum control over the machine. Oh..that horn has to go in the trash. I'd get a set of dual horns with a better tone..that's just me..You might like what you have. I never use a horn anyway, but everyone want's to know what it sounds like, and you don't want it to sound girlie. I always use the engine as a break. I usually only touch the front break right before the moment my foot makes contact with the ground. I'm not telling you what to do. You do what works for you. I'm just saying what I do. Ride safe.
Rick Hunt great input and thanks for the tips! I’ve already ordered my Barnett clutch cable and will install it as soon as the weather breaks. Thanks for the input on the throttle cable too. Ride safe! 🤟🏻
Beautiful bike. But, dude, tuck in that scarf!
Nw quest Is you’re bike overloaded
Good luck hitting 100 subs!
Chad Grimes thanks! I’m close!
Can you list your riding gear?
Sure thing Chris! The jacket, gloves and glasses are all Indian brand, found on their website. ‘Benjamin’ leather jacket, ‘Cinder’ gloves, and their ‘performance’ sunglasses. I like the glasses. They form a good enough seal. The transition lenses darken enough for bright days and I wear them at night with no problems. Although I believe the instructions say not to. The helmet is Bell ‘Pit Boss.’
Fellow tanker here. Great vids man. I'm looking into a first bike and a scout is expensive but such a great looking bike.
George Warren II great to hear from you brother. I’m surprised someone recognized my pin. Thank you for your service, sir!
