I wanted JULIAN MCMAHON from Nip/Tuck & Dr Doom in Fantastic Four to be cast because I was able to socialize with him & his friends during the fortnight that his screen tests were recorded & he had put in a lot of preparation to build up his physique at the gym, was taking martial arts lessons & was working with a speech therapist to perfect a convincing way of talking. So I was gutted when he came so close to getting the role only to fall at the last hurdle. For the life of me I couldn't understand why Craig was cast, he seemed dull, low on enthusiasm & lacking physically. This lasted until the teaser trailer for Casino Royale was released showing his remarkable physical transformation & looking cool with his cropped blonde hair & throwing himself vigorously in the action scenes & looking very ruthless & intimidating in the fight scenes. Craig was an absolute revelation as Casino Royale was too, I saw it a few times at the cinema & the movie & Craig's Bond rank very highly in my affections

I used to love that food. It was one of the only restaurants in the neighborhood I lived in, and it was our go-to place for special occasions like birthdays, graduations. It’s long gone now, and now there’s like a hundred places to eat in that area😂

The whole point of the movie was to flip around halfway. Quentin was going for Stephen King--he even says it in an interview. Build up the characters, then put them in a horrible situation. I've seen this movie as both a kid and an adult and it never really struck me as "lazy" at the end.

Someone told me one time on Facebook scott madson aka jack branning was up for the role but he turn it down to buld himself for that overrated show Eastenders bad move Scott could made a good bruce wayne and batman too.

The problem isn't so much the tonal shift, it's that the first half is much better than the second. If it started one way and then got better it would be a different story.
