Anyone on console still struggling with this, go into Game Settings and change the jump from the sprint/roll button to clicking the left stick (LS / L3). After I made that switch, literally did it first try. I’m honestly flabbergasted

I gave up, my guy never seemed to be able to jump that far. Cool skip if you can actually do it.

A tip I found useful is if you're playing on PC, try setting it up with controller, but do the actual jump with keyboard. The F key is considerably more responsive than most controller buttons.
