Oh Come Let Us Adore Him! The time has come for all of us again to begin heading to the manger during the season of Advent, but we are not making this journey alone. These devotions offer guided help to find the gospel message in what is going on all around us, even in preparations that can get hectic at times.

In July 2022, 9 teens and 5 adult leaders from Trinity headed to the LCMS National Youth Gathering. The gathering is held every 3 years in various locations around the United States. Past host cities have included Atlanta, Denver, New Orleans, and San Antonio. This year the gathering was held for the FIRST TIME EVER in Houston, Texas. Our Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School was held this past week, June 20-24. Our Leader-to-Student ratio allowed us to safely shepherd 101 children who rotated through Music, Bible Stories, Games, and Snack or Lunch every day. The shadow sabbath of Colossians 2 was a depiction of the reality of sin and the necessity of redemption. God in Genesis 2 rested in the completion of His perfect work before sin entered the world. God was not in Genesis 2 resting simultaneously in His perfect work of creation and the reality and remedy of a fallen race.
