Feyre’s situation is super complicated. I don’t think anyone took away any power from her. She didn’t have any choice because there weren’t any choices for her to make. Unfortunately there were no options😢 She couldn’t do a C section nor a normal delivery nor would she have given the baby up before he was born. Rhys saw how happy she was and how happy being pregnant made her be and knew telling her or not telling her would only change that she wouldn’t be happy anymore because she’d be worried over something she had no control over. It’s not all black and white.

I think back in ACOWAR Feyre felt guilty for fighting with Rhys in front of others and said she wouldn't do that again even though he said she could. I prefer to think that they had it out later (united front in public / fight in private) and we're just not seeing the bigger reaction because we're in Nesta's POV.

I get why Rhys asked Nesta to be kind to Gwen. Nesta has never been nice to anyone!? not even her sisters. She always makes bad comments. Also Rhys knows she’s there basically against her will. I get why he said that, Rhys knows what happened to Gwen during the attack. Of course he’ll be protective of her. Remember Rhys is not present to see Nesta’s growth/healing journey. For all he knows she’d still not be kind to anyone that gets close to her.
