i see things all the time. shimmering things, outdoors, indoors. somedays i feel they're the government with invisibility cloaks. somedays i think they're ghosts. somedays i think they're angels. i point them out to people; no one sees them. people walk over to where i'm pointing, and there's nothing there. when i was homeless years ago, i saw something similar, i thought it was my soul, and i walked over to it. it touched my hand. i screamed. maybe i'm going blind. my depth perception is awful. maybe it's something in the air. somedays i look up at the sky and see particles floating, shining, moving around when i move my hands around. it's confusing. i talked to someone about the particles, he saw them too, but that was only one other person. maybe thirty minutes later i caught sight of a scurrying rat, and i wondered if it was a message from the universe to ignore the particles. i'm always wondering. i drove around the country for a while, and i was seeing things on the side of the highway. i felt like i was having a conversation. at some point, i said "you know, these guys aren't too bad." then i saw someone take off a mask on the side of the highway. he looked like a skull. "we're nazis" he said. i grew so frightened. i left. everyday since then has been a mindfuck. somedays i think they're time travelers fighting for a thousand year reich. that horrifies me. a cruel dystopia. maybe it's all psychological operations. why would it touch my hand, why would he tell me that on the highway. i ask these questions everyday, wandering around, searching for answers. maybe i'm just crazy. but youtube recommends this playlist all the time, and it hurts.

This should have been much longer....

The Light House I watch enveloped in envy as the winds continued their expedition through the overgrown coffee hair of the man I had chosen to spend the rest of my life with secluded away. It was already past the usual time for his haircut but I’d been pushing it back for my own contentment. He’d let the birds use his hair as a miniscule playground. Speaking of birds, I think they liked him more when he had longer hair. I make this mental note as I watch Rio hop and land onto his head, a free estate of theirs. He knew he’d have to detangle his hair some time later but for now he enjoyed the additional attention, moving as little as he can. I was itching to approach the fence and just join the birds at playing with his sun dyed coffee hair. But- “coo”; Bobo had just gotten cozy in my lap and it would be a crime to have to move him. So I let Bobo continue to use my muffler as a blanket and he continued to nibble at my finger. He was trying to eat any leftover rice crisp treat leftover from earlier from my fingertips. His rose tinted beak nipped gently against my thinning aged skin. Bobo’s nibbles had interrupted my knitting. I was working at making Archie another scarf for the nearing winter but from the looks of it this one was going to Bobo too; just like the other three. The white color of the scarf looked cozy on the milk tea Bobo it was tucked around and into. Bobo had a particular habit or if I may say; courtesy: to kiss my hand before taking food from it. A bird who could stabilize any racing heart. Archie on the other hand was resting his chin on his arm against the century old iron railing, petting the grey-white feathers of Lulu, while the other thirteen pigeons shared rice krispy treats among themselves. From the back he still looked like the man I’d come here with; not a day older than sixty-five. I wanted to shout to him about being careful and not leaning too much, but I knew it would disturb Bobo who had just shut his orange eyes. Bobo’s velutinous little chest heaved up and down gently with both his wings tucked in. I pulled the scarf so it covered a little more of his little cashmere head. I had to fight off the urge to turn Bobo over so he’d lie on his back and I could give him belly rubs. If a bird bares their stomach to you, rest assured they trusts you with their life. Instead, I tucked Bobo further into the scarf and shifted so I could rock him from the sun. A sound of wings against the winds and Archie, my husband turns around eagerly about to tell me something. As the sun fell on his face, you could tell apart the places where time had kissed him on his face. The eyes and smile lines of a golden retriever, with an everlasting grin; the one of a happy man. Streaks of grey hair visible in the sun, falling over the only part of the face that still held its youth; his dark almond eyes. He had Woonal on his right arm and had frozen still at the moment when his eyes caught Bobo napping on me. He willed himself to relax first, before approaching me slowly and taking off a note from our chestnut pigeon’s feet; a letter had arrived from the other side of the sea. He handed it to me wordlessly, still a fool’s smile playing at his lips. I took it with trembling hands….it’d been exact fifteen years since the day I had run away with someone’s father. Ancient Greeks like Plato honored his Daemon. It is the Sun who gives light revealing our shadows on the wall of our mind. Jesus came to help us sinners repent and know the shadows of our heart. Beautiful Music to help with the sad reality of how we can chase a projection we can never attain. Knowing our anima or animus in prayer and meditation dispels the illusion and keeps us from succumbing. One can end up like Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights chasing his beloved Catherine off a cliff, digging up her grave. This great novel by Emily Bronte is arguably the greatest Gothic novel ever written about the depths of human failing. And longing for what can only be found inside of us. Nothing Lasts Forever Only the spirit realm we came from and will return. Dreams are indispensable in knowing ourselves and the ones we love, just as we are, as ordinary human beings. Synchronistically, the young couple sitting nearby at my favorite bookstore cafe', remind me of my loneliness and love. Jung is right, if two people aren't seeking their inner eternal partner, harmful expectations manifest and hinder a connection. But Lao Tzu said it best: "If you see something you like in someone, strive for that quality." (iow don't envy or be jealous) "If you see something you dislike, look within. In meditation, go deep. No fight. No blame." (iow back off, take a breath, reflect) More importantly: "Know the ways of man, but keep to a woman's care." It doesn't matter what our orientation, gender or none might be. We're all born of a woman and man with certain characteristics that are evident, wrongly construed as masculine or feminine despite Lao Tzu. It is about love and watching for what gets in the way, mainly our vice, vanity and iniquity. Who doesn't have wounds, issues, demons and desires? But too often we hold it against others, as well as ourselves, when any of us can be so afflicted. Domestic Violence keeps getting worse to try and dominate. How do the Deities and inner partners feel when we neglect them and fail to check in? Same as us. An optimum relationship is learning to relate and respect each other's inner journey and self-discovery. Especially, the discovery of our higher Self, be it God or Goddess or Both as in world mythology, like the Shekinah. Peace and Blessings to All seeking human love, same as the Deities. Jesus would have us love God to be loved and so love one another as He did. This being Lent, if ever there was a time to know our darkness as in Matthew 15:19, it is Lent. It is about love and watching for what can get in the way. Jung confirmed it.

Very Beautiful music to listen to inside a very warm huge mansion as this with a very warm fireplace going and relaxing in front of the fireplace and drinking hot coffee or chocolate and reading a book while listening to the soft music and you forget that everything outside is nearly covered in snow but you just sit there and read and listen to the music and the rest of your family are upstairs asleep in their warm beds but you always get up earlier than them and you spend hours in here just reading and listening to the music have a great day and stay in where it's warm and comfortable, g'day y'all.
