These etudes are entitled "72 Studies on Taste & Style Composed Expressly for the BOEHM Flute. The Boehm flute was developed around 1847. These etudes start out as grade 1.5, and quickly graduate to grade 2. By about number...

Fauré Sicilienne
Просмотров 3014 часов назад
Fauré's Sicilienne was composed for orchestra in 1898. He eventually transcribed it for cello, and later it became available for many instruments. This piece is a favorite standard among flutists. I used My Pianist Pro for the accompaniment on this video.

Obrigado!
I’m glad to have discovered your channel! I find Drouet's work fully successful on the technical level and at the same time musically rewarding. With your performances as a guide and reference, the circle is perfect. Thanks for posting !
I’m glad you find the videos helpful - thank you for listening. I’ve enjoyed learning these etudes & hope more people play them! You are welcome to join the fb group “Etude of the Week - Amateur” to hear more renditions of these etudes.
@@musicstudioofannekcarlson2945 Many thanks!

@@HarrytheBulldogABC thanks for listening!
Pretty!
Thanks :)
I like how you sustain your notes and keep good pitch. Very well done! If I had a way to record besides my phone I would love to contribute. Is there a good computer software for recoding?
Thank you! I just use QuickTime, which comes with a Mac. Or you have an iPad, you can use the recording app that comes with it - I've used that, too. I have a pretty inexpensive mic called a SnoBall. After I record, I put the video in to iMovie to lower the audio frequencies that will get rid of the high distortions that happen with flute playing. When I do that, it turns it in to an mp4, which is easier to import than the .mov that QuickTime produces.
@@musicstudioofannekcarlson2945 oh, okay, thanks. Unfortunately I only have a cheap laptop. My Mac broke and I haven't been able to record since. Maybe it's time I upgrade my computer.
Awesome! Jesus Christ os the only Lord and Savior ❤
Thank you!
Al fin escucho alguien con estudios profesionales de la flauta en you tube

thank you :). I'm glad you love it.
As always, a fantastic job! Do you play professionally?
I used to, but now I live in a place where opportunities are slim. I'm thankful for this venue at this point in my life.
oh my gosh, this is so good :O!!
thanks! lots of practice :)
❤
A treat.
Thank you!
Beautiful
Thanks!
I enjoy to follow your works. you deserve more views.
Thank you - that's a very nice thing to say :) Thanks for following my youtube channel. Tell your friends!
Caveat: I made a rhythm mistake! It's towards the end, so you all will have to listen to more than the 30% most people listen to in order to hear it :) And if you don't have the printed music, you probably won't even notice it.
🎉
Excellent
Thanks, Brian!
That's so cool 😮
Thanks :)
Hello. I'm glad I discovered Berceuse on your channel. I'm going to practice this one and add it as background music to a video I'm making. It's the perfect piece. Thank you.
Glad you find it helpful! If you have a teacher to help you, that’s really valuable for the feedback & pointers.
Thank you for this. I am trying to learn this and its a bear. I can't make it sound like anything but a bunch of notes! Thank you this is perfect and will help me put some feeling into it as I learn it.
So smooth!
Thanks, Erika!
Is that a Powell? You sound wonderful! So smooth!
No - I've never been a Powell person - just didn't click with me, I guess. I play on a Brannen with a Burkart head joint. Thank you!
👏
Ha - thanks, Jeni. I appreciate your support :)
That is not Kummer on the thumbnail; that is Borodin.
You're absolutely correct! Thanks for letting me know. I found that picture on Wikipedia for Kaspar Kummer, but now I can't find any pictures of him. Guess I should have found a 2nd source before using the photo.
@@musicstudioofannekcarlson2945 I found a real portrait of him. It’s at the Online Portrait Gallery spelled Johann Caspar Kummer.
@@felixclm you DID? I haven't found very much out about him at all. I'll check it out.
bom dia. Voltando a assistir as aulas😊
Amazing job, I’m playing part three for my solo and ensemble (I’m always given the super low notes as I’m the only flute able to play the low low notes lol) and this helped me a lot!!- from a really desperate Highschool kid
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Low notes are definitely difficult - especially if your flute has leaks in the keys ;-) Good for you getting them out well.
good job!!
Thank you!
Very nice. Wow she died young!
Thanks, Erika! It was interesting to learn about her. Wikipedia said her cause of death was diagnosed as "intestinal tuberculosis". But if you scroll way down on the page, it said it also could have been Crohn's disease, which the label wasn't available in 1918.
Excellent Annie
Thanks, Brian!
Good work!
Thank you!
So great! I remember that smile and wave lol. Hi Annie 👋
Hey there, Dan! Nice to hear from you! I watched your video on the Chanma Natural Preserve - pretty cool hearing about the clues to find old farms!
Мне тоже очень нравятся этюды Келлера этюды , и особенно Op 33-2. Спасибо за ваши флейтовые ролики . Bravo !❤
