It is - I used either dyes I picked up in the Blood and Wine DLC, or (most likely) made the dye after finding the recipe there.

I recently upgraded to the latest version of Witcher 3 and had no problems installing as I did in this video. No idea what could be the trouble. Sorry.

Did you use the update from the comments section instead of the official file? Need more information to try to help.

You need to do the Blood and Wine DLC, as there is someone who sells dye there. There is a mod you can use to dye them early, but I do not recommend using it. The time I did, when I did get to the Blood and Wine DLC it had broken all the red dyed clothes there.

@@lipsyz3r099 yeah the mod is broken for some reason, i got mine to work, but only because i got a mod that ''fixes'' the bridge shopkeeper when i have the witcher gear mod.

Yes? Not sure, as I've never used Hoods without AHW installed. Both time's I've used them, I put them both in before firing up the game to make sure they worked. BTW - curious about where you are as our time zones are very different!

Still running 4.03 as there are a couple of "must have mods" haven't been updated to 4.04 yet. You want me to do a tutorial up on 4.03, or wait until I update to 4.04?

Obvious question - did you unzip the file first? I'm guessing so...I'd check your main Witcher 3 folder and see if it didn't end up there by accident. This is happened to me several times (user error). The Netflix hail tail does indeed replace loose and tied back hair (1st option at the barber's). In your mod folder, the file should appear as modNetflixCavillHairStyle. I'm not sure what to tell you about the new hairstyle and beard dlc - is it compatible with the version you're using? If nothing else, try validating your game files.

@@majorgruber5925 i used the mod manager for it since it was just a copy paste of mod folder but it didn't work. As for the beard and hair dlc yes it works perfectly with the latest version of the game. Only problem is that i saved the game using it many times so now ig i can't remove it

@@akushiart6932 Yes, I've read many times certain mods just don't work with any of the mod managers. I'd manually drop the Netflix hair into your mod folder. I'm pretty sure it'll work fine then. I do all my mod installs manually for Witcher 3 as CDPR makes it pretty easy to do.

@@majorgruber5925 i used to do manually until a few weeks ago when i downloaded this cuz friendly meditation and stuff were just not working for me manually. Since then I'm just using this cuz it's quicker than opening 7-8 folders to reach the mod folder of the game XD. Also i tried doing it manually but it didn't work either. Neither this nor the Viking braids. They don't give any errors but they just don't show up. It shows the regular hairstyle instead. In case of halftail mod the hair band shifts above the ponytail but the overall look of the hairstyle remains the same as vanilla

@@akushiart6932 OK, I finally looked at that New Hairstyles and Beards For Geralt (DLC2 Improved) mod. Yes, once installed, any saves you make after will require that mod to be in place. Did you delete the original DLC2 folder before installing the new DLC2 from the mod? This is a hard requirement, and might be the source of your problem. The Netflix hair mod SHOULD work, as it's replacing an original hair. You'll need to give the Netflix hair priority over the New Hairstyles and Beard, either by changing the Netflix one's name in your mod folder (from modNetflixCavillHairStyle to mod000NetflixCavillHairStyle) in your mod folder, or give it priority in your mods.settings file, or by giving it priority with WitcherScriptMerger. Be careful using mods that aren't specifically upgraded to 4.03 if that's the version you are using. Apparently the script coding has changed, and I've been reading that even if a mod seems to be working fine, there could be corruption occurring. Thanks for the recommendations, and I'll be checking them out.

@@majorgruber5925 ohhh. Darker night is updated and e3 quen is updated. I don't think e3 dodge is updated but it works fine. I tried the e3arp but the only problem is no other mods have the swordplay feature

This is DX12, and Witcher 3 version 4.03.

@@majorgruber5925 thanks for response. Strangely for me i couldn't get the hoods mod working on this patch and the dx12 version works on max 60fps at the lowest setting. And as soon as i enable rt it just crashes. RT was working fine giving around 70fps on balanced during the starting in white Orchard but as soon as velen started it just started crashing and is no more playable on dx12

@@akushiart6932 I'm on a gaming laptop with a RTX2070 so I gave up on RT really quickly. Between the performance hit and the weird texture flickering, I opted out, and am just using DLSS on Quality. Still dipping into the 50's fps-wise in Novigrad, but otherwise seems to be running smoothly for me. Not sure why Hoods isn't working for you. Did you use Script Merging? It could also be you're using an earlier version? It was updated 11 May.
