I really love this movie. I especially love the father and son angst between Lloyd and Garmadon they try to have at the beginning. Garmadon is like the perfect LEGO villain right now - so cartoonishly evil but also super funny that it's hard to take him seriously at first.

Im not sure if it was ever confimed anywhere, but I feel all the movies, Lego 1&2, Batman and this, take place in the 'basement' universe from the lego movie, and are their own thing. And the TV shows and stuff are more lore focused and accurate. But the two are entirely separate from each other, as all the straight to DVD lego batman stuff has almost no continuity with the lego batman movie.

It may be a weaker sequel to the lego movies but the jokes sure are entertaining as hell
