What about if you're applying for a Global Entry card? They do ask if you've ever been arrested AND they specifically say on the form" "Even if you've had an expungement." They do want to know. Apparently, Homeland Security CAN search expungments. But they don't always find them, even when they're looking. If you admit to having one, (not a good idea to lie to them), they may ask you to provide a copy of the Judge's ruling. But then, this is only if you want to travel internationally and be able to take the fast lane thru security. But if your expungement was over 20 years ago, and it was when you were young and stupid, you probably won't have an issue if you forgot to admit to it.

Or tell you to educate yourself, I mean surf the web until you have seen everything and that It is not a sobriety tester. so learn all you can about things that make you fail a breathalyzer.
