Irwin 10WR Original 10 in. Electrical Locking Pliers Overview
I forgot to mention that these have a lifetime warranty, that there are replacement parts available, and that these pliers feel very substantial. The metal feels much thicker than the Bremen equivalent. They also feel a lot heftier. Otherwise, this is just a basic overview of my Irwin 10WR Original 10 in Electrical Locking Pliers. I got mine at Lowes.

I realized I forgot to mention the controversy with this ratchet. If you did not know, EP Auto had previously sold a kit with this exact ratchet in it for less than what Harbor Freight was charging for this ratchet. The EP Auto kit has been delisted since then, but I thought that was definitely worth mentioning. Otherwise, this is just a basic overview of my Icon 58592 3/8" Drive Professional F...

I realized I made a mistake, the Advanced Comfort version of these jeans is 70% cotton, 29% polyester, and 1% spandex. I also didn't mention the country of origin for these jeans. The Advanced Comfort and Quilted Lined are made in Mexico, but the Standard ones are made in Mexico with US fabric. Thank you so much for confirming that it indeed has two PCIe cables.
I'm glad my video helped!
Thank you so much because I couldn’t close it before your video.
I'm glad my video helped!
Mine wobble at the rivet joint after a few months use. Really liked these until this.
Thank you for making this video. i had no idea how to close this thing, and no other videos helped or went straight to the point like yours.
I'm glad my video helped you!
Amazing! First video that actually helped!
@@Colefamily101 I'm glad the video helped!
Something so simple but I didn't know how to close it! Thank you so much for show how to do it hahaha
@@mardueca I'm glad the video helped!
Quality content as always!!!
Mom likes the ring light 😂😂😂 although it is different from your usual!
Congratulations Buddy ‼️ Camera angle is fine. As an old timer, I'm glad to see young men, such as yourself, interested in tools and using them. Helping you Dad is great as well. Keep up the good work and best wishes for your post graduation life and career 🤠
Thank you! I really appreciate it.

Cant beat good cheap utility knives. There's always a use for them. 😁👍
Thank you this was the best of the available video for how to use the utility knife
WOW- love your haircut! Quite handsome! :) But I had seen one of you other older videos on this and really liked your explaining vs other people that end up talking way to much about other things. You get right to it and thought I’d just subscribe to your channel. Yours is the best in really breaking down all the info. It’s great! Thanks for all the good info!
Greetings from Pensacola, Fl 🌞🌻⛵️⛱️🏝️🦩 Thanks- you showed how to close it right off unlike a lot of other people that do a lot of talking before it’s ever shown. Yours is the best.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
What ratchet is that?
Icon R2FG?
@@lazarusrizeYes, that is the ratchet in this video.
Check out the Coast slayer pro
I'll have to take a look at that if I get the chance.
Fyi, the Quinn rachet is the exact same as gear wrench ratchet. Just different handles
This video was made before the new Quinn ratchets came out. I had figured they were maybe the same, but it's good to have some some confirmation. Good information for people who don't want to pay the gearwrench premium and also want to get the Harbor Freight Warranty.
Good vid
Well done, first time doing these on my Taurus. Thank you for the detailed tutorial.
I'm glad I was able to help!
I was fiddling with my brothers knife and couldnt close it thank you😭🙏🙏
I'm glad I was able to help
Glad you're ok, Buddy! 👍😎🤠🇺🇸
I found mine from like 5 years ago and couldn't get the batteries out. The screw cap was stuck. To adjustable pliers two of them to pry it apart turns out the batteries corroded so much that it just swelled up and sealed the flashlight shut
this have 8pin gpu connector????
Yes, it does

Thanks for the video. I could not figure out how to close my folding utility knife, but now I know because of you.
I'm glad I was able to help!
you are handsome.
Which Leatherman is that? Wave? Surge? I have a Surge but I'm considering switching to the Wave to save some weight. Maybe you already carry something else on your left hip such as a firearm but personally I like to balance out the weight by putting lesser used items on the other hip. For example pocket knife on the right and flashlight on the left. It seems like a bad idea to me to have extra weight on one side over the long term because of how it will affect the muscles, joints, walking gait etc.
It is a Wave+. I have thought about switching to the Surge oddly for more full-size tools. You make an interesting point about keeping the weight balanced. I never really considered that, but the main reason I keep everything on the right for now is that it is easy to reach. I may experiment with changing it up though in the future.
@@railroadsniper Thanks for the response. Another thing is not to keep a wallet or similar bulky item in your back pocket because then you're always sitting on a tilt which is bad for your back. I was thinking of getting the Wave+. The Surge is really great just pretty big and heavy.
Thank you! Going to pick one up 🆙
I had the same problem as @wolfbetsy525 this video was a big help so thank you
Thanks for this review 👍
What is the price of the torque screwdriver cause I want one
I am seeing it for $69.97 right now before tax and shipping at Menards.
They have them at the store Menards so unless they are out of stock then I will pay for shipping until then I will pay for the item and tax.
Keep it up, bro.
Hey buddy 👋 Great review 👍 I have those and several Channellock tools. Can't beat them for the price and being produced in the U.S. Plus, they're a great conversation piece whenever they're pulled out and used😁🤠
Thanks! They definitely have their times they've come in handy for me. I definitely agree on them being a conversation piece.
@@railroadsniper You're welcome, buddy 🤠
-3:43this strp i cant do?Help
If you are talking about the screws under the optical drive, a screw extractor plier may help. You could also try some spiral screw extractors or a torx bit. They may be able to help.
Thanks for the review, buddy. I've been keeping an eye on the clearance Ideal tools. So far I've purchased the long shank Phillips screwdriver, 8" long nose pliers, 9.5" Lineman pliers both those with the upgraded grips. There's more I plan to purchase but I'm waiting for the pricing to drop another notch😂 I really don't need any of them since I'm a Klein fan and have almost everything I want in that line but for the price, I can't resist. Plus tools are my thing so I'm always on the hunt. I'm in the trades so I do wear tools out sometimes, even occasionally loose one 😵 Keeping my eye on the Greenly stuff too🤠
I'd say I prefer Klein as well, but the Ideal tools definitely aren't bad. Especially on clearance. I've got a circuit breaker finder and this crimper, which have done really well. Their pliers and strippers seem really nice as well as their electrical testers.
I also purchased the Ideal circuit breaker finder but I did so long before Ideal products went on clearance .Probably about a year or so ago. Can't remember why I chose it over the Klein version. It may have been on sale. I actually used the Circuit Detective from harbor freight for several years before buying the Ideal CBF. I'll let you in on a little known fact, the Circuit Detective is also sold under the Klein name. I'll look for the article and if I find it, I'll share it with you. @@railroadsniper
What is the size of the 3 bolts under the cd drive , I want to get screw driver for them
I believe they are either PH0 or PH00. I thought I stated it in the video, but I may have forgotten.
They are PH0, I have just confirmed that.
Dickies carpenter jeans are as good too
I do love the canvas ones, I'll have to try the jeans sometime
Hey buddy, good to see a new video from you. I have that same Coast flashlight and the switch doesn't always turn it on. It's not that old either. So I'm on the hunt for another EDC flashlight. All the best🤠
Now that I am settled at college again I hope to make some more videos. Thanks for the kind words!
@@railroadsniper You're welcome 🤠
If you like the pocket cover. Some carhartt rip stop pants come with it too
I may have to try them sometime as well
Great job demonstrating the socket set.
Good video. I have bought 3 already.
Love these things but I have no use for them since I’m not a professional who would use them regularly. Borrowed them for some light outdoor plumbing and am super tempted to buy a pair just because I like them so much.
They're definitely pretty great, but like you said not an everyday use tool.
Super Dope Bro
I will definitely be purchasing a pair of these❤❤❤❤
I've heard they're a good value for the price. I may pick up a pair to try. Thanks for the review and keep up the good work, young man 👍😎🤠🇺🇸
Thanks for the kind words, I'd definitely recommend them as a good all around pair.
@@railroadsniper You're welcome, my friend 🤠
HF has a great policy on returns if ever the pliers fail.
I definitely love the HF return policy.
I've used the 25' Fatmax, for years and they have served me well. Lately, I've been tempted to buy the Lufkin Night Eye but I have too many tape measures already 😂
I definitely like the Fatmax a lot, and USA made is a plus, but I honestly tend to use the Lufkin more since I got it. I like the grit they put on the end for extra grip.
Good job, buddy👍😎🤠🇺🇸
Sick!
Great review! 😃👍
Thanks I'm about to replace the battery on the same laptop, it helped a lot. How's the replacement battery been doing so far?
So far it has held up well, however my mom primarily uses her laptop plugged in.
@@railroadsniper Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 3515 model and there is a problem with the laptop. I plug it into the charger, it does not charge, it does not rise or fall, but I use the laptop while it is plugged in with 0 charge and when I enter the bios screen, it sees the adapter as unknow. What do you think the problem could be? Can you give me a suggestion?
@alpercan7932 I cannot be sure of course, but if you are able to use the laptop with the charger alone and no battery, this would make me think the battery is the problem. I would start by checking the battery connections and if that is not the problem, I would try changing the battery. That is just my personal opinion though.
Very good system yes intel pc..😎😎✔✔👍👍
